SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS novel Chapter 162

Chapter 162: Chapter 160

’Who is this?’ that’s all Richard could think about as he glared hostilely at the young girl who had popped out of nowhere and was now hanging onto Diamond as if her life depended on it.

Diamond helplessly looked at the young woman she never thought would be meeting any time soon.

"You ..... can you let me go for a bit?" Diamond hesitantly asked as she looked at the girl looking at her with infatuated eyes.

’It can’t be that the little girl swings that way, right?’ Diamond shuddered as she looked at her warily.

"Selena! Are you not going to let go?" Clarissa angrily chided as she looked at the usual shy girl who wasn’t acting as normal as she was used to seeing.

When did those two even meet?

Clarissa couldn’t help but wonder as she looked at how intimate those two looked. It even bothered her to see how Diamond seemed to be looking at Selena dotingly.

Just what was happening between the two?

When Selena heard Clarissa yelling at her, she reluctantly pulled herself from Diamond but didn’t forget to glare at the two people who were treating her as enemies.

Can’t a girl be happy to meet someone she likes?

"You are hateful!" Selena complained sulkily as she looked at Clarissa, another person she knew pretty well.

"Heh, who would have thought that our dear Lena is this outgoing?" Clarissa scoffed as she looked at Selena.

Selena pouted angrily at Clarissa before shifting her attention to Diamond. The person she was happy to see the most.

"Big sister, what are you doing here?" Selena excitedly asked as she looked at Diamond with sparkling eyes.

Diamond chuckled softly as she witnessed the drama the three were starting. Weren’t they seeing that several people were already paying attention to them?

"Clarissa invited me. I wasn’t expecting to see you here. Do you live around here?" Diamond responded with a smile.

Selena beamed at Diamond and said, "Um. I stay in this complex. If I had known that you were invited. I would have gone to the exhibition. I would have been with you longer!" complaining in a nasal voice.

Upon hearing that, Diamond chuckled softly as she raised her hand and used her finger to scratch Selena’s nose.

"It’s already reached this point. It’s good that we have met now. Don’t you think so?"

"Yes. It’s good as long as I see you."

"Can we get the food and go to the table first?" Clarissa helplessly asked as she looked at the three.

Selena shyly looked down as embarrassment overwhelmed her.

Diamond didn’t want to make things more difficult for anyone, so she hurriedly added several dishes before she returned to the table.

Richard, Selena, and Clarissa followed behind her.

While this wasn’t something that could be considered shocking for most people, it wasn’t the same for the group that Selena was with earlier.

"Tell me, what just happened?"

"If you ask me, who should I ask?"

"I have never seen Lena like that before!"

"Sarah, that’s your little sister. Can you tell us what is going on with her?"

The group of people consisted of six, and if including Selena, who just ditched them for a stranger, they would have been seven.

This group was one of the youngster groups in the Garden View complex. Not all the children were best of friends, so only a few could be found and they were in groups. Though there weren’t a lot of enemies amongst everyone, there was still a lot of competition.

Sarah looked dumbfoundedly at her little sister, who had shamelessly stuck herself to someone who hadn’t even invited her.

"Sarah, don’t you know something?" another young woman nudged at Sarah as she asked.

Sarah sighed deeply as her gaze shifted from Selena, who was eating, smiling, and laughing. Something that she barely does.

Selena was more of an introvert, and it was difficult for her to open up and be that close to other people. If it wasn’t for her forcing her to attend all sorts of social events, the other would be stuck in her writing room, busy with her novels.

So, it was very surprising to see her like that and at the same time, she felt relieved. She couldn’t help but recall what Selena told her the day before yesterday.

"I think that the one in burgundy is the one that she met the other day. I guess I will have to ask her later to find out more about her," Sarah said as she shared the little details she knew about Selena’s friend.

"I think that she is good. Otherwise, Selena wouldn’t be hanging onto her like that."
