Time quickly flew by and in just short two days, it was time for Diamond and Ruby to finally leave for Frin.
"Mother, isn’t this a bit too much?" Diamond asked helplessly as she looked at the fresh farm produce her mother had purchased earlier that morning from the market.
"Umph! How can you say that it’s too much? This is just a drop in the bucket. When the drought is over, mother will find you more food to eat!" Belinda shamelessly said as she brought more stuff from the kitchen.
Ruby had a smile on her face, enjoying how defeated her sister looked like right now.
"Mom, don’t just think about us. What about you?"
"Us? Don’t worry. We will buy more once you are gone!"
"Mom, don’t forget to stock up on food. I gave you enough money!"
"Don’t worry, we will start doing so soon."
"That better be the case!"
"Don’t change the topic and start storing all this!" Belinda scolded as she looked at her daughter, who had nearly succeeded in changing the topic just now.
Diamond shrugged before starting to make the goods on the floor disappear one by one.
There was no way she would be carrying so much luggage home. With a storage ring in place, she stored everything inside and shortly the floor was clean.
Once again, the mightiness of the ring amazed the three.
"Darling, never show this to anyone else. Do you understand me?" Belinda warned her daughter seriously.
She didn’t want any misfortune to befall her because of the things that she possessed.
"Mother, don’t worry. I am always careful."
After finishing packing, the Perry family plus four bodyguards left the villa in two cars. The front car had the Perry family, while the other one had the bodyguards.
On their way to the airport, the four had a great time, as they discussed a lot of things.
"Ruby, remember to listen to your sister. And don’t cause trouble for her!" as they neared the airport, Belinda started lecturing.
Ruby could only look at Diamond for intervention, but Diamond pretended as if she wasn’t hearing anything and continued to wow their father with some jokes.
"I will always remember that, mom."
"You aren’t allowed to expose what your big sis have. Our family will be in deep trouble if that ever happens!"
Ruby kept her head down as she listened to her mother’s lecturing. If she had not been used to such treatment before, she would have hated Diamond for making her mother do as such.
Fortunately, she was trained from a young age, otherwise who knew how many devious schemes she would be having now towards her sister?
They finally arrived at the airport, and with only one small bag each for show, the sisters didn’t have a lot going on for them.
"Don’t forget to call when you arrive!" Belinda reminded me as she hugged the girls.
"We won’t forget."
"You take care of yourselves while we are gone!"
"And don’t overwork. Remember to hire people!’
Diamond didn’t forget to give a mischievous look at the bodyguards she had scared that day.
Who made them look down on her so much?
After driving for ten minutes, the driver stopped by the gate since the Uber didn’t have any right to enter the gates
Diamond paid for the transport fare with some tip before exiting the car with her little sister, whose eyes were sparkling seeing a familiar place.
The Uber driver thanked Diamond for her generosity before driving without turning back.
They were from different worlds. What was the point of having lingering feelings?
Diamond and Ruby didn’t know about the driver’s complicated feelings but simply waved at the smiling security team, who recognized them as soon as they exited the car.
"Happy New Year, ladies!" the security guards cheerfully congratulated.
"Same to you!" fre ewe bnove l.com
"I hope that you have been well?" Diamond asked as she stopped just a short distance away from the five men currently on duty.
"Haha, thank you for asking, Ms. Diamond. We are well!"
"That’s good to hear! I would hate to see anything happening to you!" Diamond meant it.
After all, these men worked so hard day and night to keep Cherry Court safe from thieves and intruders.
"We are just doing our jobs!"
The security guards really liked these two sisters. They were very kind, easy to talk to and above didn’t throw any airs despite being too rich for their own good.
Of course, they didn’t dare have other thoughts just because the sisters could be talked to. They weren’t fools. Just because the girls were friendly, if they were to go overboard, it wouldn’t be too shocking if they lost everything in a second.
And they didn’t dare risk it.
