Since she spent a lot of time playing online, Diamond left home a bit late. Then there was traffic, causing the two to reach the airport an hour before the plane’s departure.
Garnet helped her with the suitcase and took her inside. Diamond avoiding being spotted by anyone, wore a face mask which covered half of her face and a visor hat since she had tied her hair into a high ponytail.
With Garnet’s help, the suitcase was sent to the baggage counter for drop-off. After that, Diamond, who didn’t have much time to wait in the VIP waiting room, had to bid Garnet farewell as she proceeded to go through the security screening.
As soon as the screening was done, it was time for her to board the plane. And being in the business class, she was in the first group which boarded the plane.
Accompanying her were five people who would be sharing the same cabin with her. She didn’t say a word but minded her business until she was inside.
Diamond fortunately didn’t have any neighbor in her row, so it was a peaceful flight for her.
Whilst in the air, Diamond didn’t sleep but spent most of her time reading several magazines provided for her convenience. She also ate a delicious meal on the plane and a glass of expensive champagne to wash down.
When she wasn’t doing so, she was online as she watched how enthusiastic the netizens were about joining the event.
It was quite surprising to hear from Andrea the number of contestants. And looking at the high-quality pictures being sent; she could only admire the crouching tigers that were hidden from the public view.
The flight from Frin to Iwarim was two hours long. And adding the time spent to go through another screening upon arrival, the clock struck 3 and the competition finally came to an end.
Fortunately, Andrea and Garnet were taking a look at what was going on online since Diamond was occupied with other things.

[I envy you. Bro, should I come?]
"If you dare come to this side, I will release your schedule to the paparazzi!"
[You .... How can you be so selfish?]
"Don’t even start. It’s not like she won’t be coming to you once her trip to my side is done."
[I just miss her!]
"Then wait for your time. Who made you take a job which didn’t give you time to breathe, hehe?" the man chuckled slyly as he sat in the car, his gaze focused on the airport terminal that was in his view.
[You ... you have turned bad, you know!]
"I have always been like this. Don’t act as if you don’t know!"
[Fine, I will be patient then. How long is she staying?]
"Um. Five days. I need to leave the country on the 25th. I still have an errand to finish."
[You are still not done yet?]
"It’s a bit complicated, but I will manage." fre ewebno(v)e\l.(c)om
But at times, some things just take precedence. At least now, it was no longer as serious as it was before, so he could spend some quality alone time with her.
He couldn’t let Sullivan come and spoil his time. Even though he was his twin brother, he wanted time to bond with Diamond without another person fighting for her attention.
And he was holding a grudge from before. He was the one who met her first and yet Sullivan was the one who got intimate with her first. How could that be fair?
If he wasn’t his brother, Kian would have made Sullivan’s life so miserable. Unfortunately, they were bonded by blood, and he was the one who introduced the two together. Wasn’t he expecting something like that to happen?
Pushing those thoughts away, Kian got out of the car before taking the bouquet of flowers he had prepared.
’I hope that she will like them!’ he thought inwardly as he walked towards the terminal, excitement brewing deep down inside of him.
Meanwhile, at the airport, Diamond was in a joyful state as soon as she saw the plane landing earlier.
She was finally in Iwarim, and shortly she would be seeing her lover. How wonderful that was!
With the help of the plane crew, she and the other VIPs managed to leave the plane first and, on their way to get screened, a certain lady started a conversation with her.
During the flight, she had been keeping to herself since she was by herself in the row she picked. So, it was very peaceful, but now with a lady who seemed to be too enthusiastic, Diamond found herself wondering.
’Could it be that I am destined to befriend only older ladies and none of my age?’
