The more she thought about it, the more she felt as if she had been cheated. But the question she had been asking herself was why would that girl do that to her?

The woman took a closer look at the man she was suspecting to be the boyfriend of Diamond, and she froze for a moment.

’She wasn’t lying to me!’ she concluded as she saw a familiar emotion that filled the man’s eyes.

They were filled with love and that wasn’t the kind between friends or siblings, but between lovers.

If it was like that, then did it mean that the man was truly sharing her with his brother?

Thinking that she didn’t lie to her at all, the woman suddenly increased her pace as she hurried towards the couple, who were now leaving the terminal, walking side by side with the man carrying most of the luggage.

’What is this lady trying to do now?’ her eyes narrowed as her mind concocted a lot of scenarios that might make her mad and force her to deal with the woman if she upset her.

However, assuming things which hadn’t happened yet were not good, so she turned around with a smile and waited patiently for the lady who seemed to be walking a bit faster to catch up to her.

"Aunty, walk slowly. Don’t hurt yourself!" seeing that things might go badly for her, Diamond cautiously warned, afraid of the lady facing a mishap.

The lady smiled relievedly at Diamond before slowing down.

When Kian saw Diamond stopping, he also followed along. However, he didn’t ask what was happening and simply waited for Diamond to explain when everything was done.

"You walk pretty fast. I nearly failed to catch up to you!" taking a deep breath, the lady exclaimed exaggeratedly, a friendly smile pasted on her face.

Seeing that familiar smile, Diamond was overwhelmed with relief. It seemed that she was overthinking.

"Hehe, seeing how you caught us, I can see that you are very energetic Aunty!" Diamond teased the lady with a smile, her taut muscles relaxing.

"I just didn’t want to separate without saying goodbye. Besides, I didn’t manage to get your number and I am here to get it!" getting straight to the point, the lady spoke directly to Diamond without looking at the man her baby son had to compete with in the future.
