SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS novel Chapter 363

Chapter 363: Chapter 360: DISAPPOINTED

Five minutes later, Diamond elegantly walked past the lobby without bothering what other guests were doing.

Her mind was filled with Sullivan. After not seeing him for a couple of hours, she missed him a lot. Something she realized as she stood in that elevator, feeling as if it was taking ages to bring her down.

After a brisk walk, she was outside and soon spotted the SUV, which had brought her to the hotel earlier.

Her eyes lit up as she made her way there, ignoring more people again. In her eyes, all she could see was the car and how inside the car, her man was waiting for her.

As she walked there, the door of the SUV suddenly opened and Sullivan alighted from the car.

Diamond’s eyes lit up seeing him, and she increased her pace so that she could meet him earlier. fre(e)webnove.l.c.om

As soon as they were closer to each other, Diamond said affectionately, "I missed you so much!" before slipping her hands around his waist for a hug.

Sullivan’s smile was a bit forced. Fortunately, she couldn’t see it as he was wearing a mask. However, he still hugged her but briefly before distancing himself.

"Let’s get inside the car!" he said as he held her hand before pulling her to the car.

Feeling his hand on hers, Diamond’s dissatisfaction with having the hug end prematurely vanished once again.

She had forgotten for a second that it was easy for anyone to recognize Sullivan. She was getting mushy with love; she realized.

"Um," she hummed a reply a while later as she entered the car.

Sullivan closed the door and walked to the driver’s side and climbed as well.

The two lovers were finally in the same space and she looked at him affectionately, taking in his appearance. After all, she didn’t know how long it was going to take before she could see him again.

Sullivan smiled cheekily upon seeing how brazen she was acting again.

"Am I that good-looking?" he asked amusingly, as he leaned towards her playfully.

Diamond nodded her head with sparkling eyes and replied, "Um, you are. And I can’t get enough of you!"

"Hehe, if you can’t see me, you can look at my brother. After all, we have the same face!" he suddenly said jokingly, however, a strange glint flashed in his eyes for a second.

Diamond beamed when she heard that. He had a point. Their faces were identical, and it was because of that, Diamond decided to have Sullivan. She loved the face so much; that she became selfish about monopolizing it.

"I can do that but you are still you and he is him!" she responded nonchalantly, unaware of the turmoil; Sullivan was currently going through.

"Hehe, that’s true. Anyway, when I am gone, remember to miss me!" he said, changing the topic swiftly.

"I guess that will be the only choice remaining!" he said with a sigh as he looked forward with a complicated gaze, his right hand clenched.

"Anyway, since you are leaving today, I will not keep you much longer. You tell me when you arrive safely there, okay?" forcing a smile on her face, Diamond said as she looked at Sullivan.

Sullivan sighed dejectedly and without a word, he suddenly pulled Diamond toward him before diving for a passionate kiss.

Not certain how long that lasted, what Diamond knew was that sometime later, as she followed the bellboy holding her bags, she was smiling sheepishly, and was on cloud nine.

Meanwhile, outside in the car, Sullivan looked reluctantly towards the hotel lobby for a while before he gripped the steering wheel tightly and with a sigh, he drove off and didn’t look back.

Back to Diamond, with a quick lift. It wasn’t long before she was back on the floor where Samantha was.

With the bags in hand, it was now easier for her to fool the lady and give her what she wanted and, at the same time, earn some money.

Although she was a bit disappointed that she wouldn’t be spending time with Sullivan as planned, she was happy that in just one day she earned so much and the other party didn’t even negotiate.

Even when she lay in bed that night, in her penthouse, everything still felt surreal.

’Money is still the best cure of all things, after all!’ she acknowledged as she drifted to sleep.
