"I really appreciate that. Thank you!" Diamond sincerely thanked Nolan as the two separated.

Nolan ruffled Diamond’s hair, loving its softness and texture.

She was the only person he had met with such good hair. It made him wonder what she ate, or applied for it to be that long.

It took his years and serious maintenance to be that long, and yet it didn’t even reach half of hers.

It was quite mysterious.

"You are welcome! Now, let’s fit the clothes. It’s late!" pushing away the envy of the hair, he reminded Diamond of the serious business which had been pushed aside for hours.

Diamond, hearing that, stuck her tongue playfully at him before she looked at the gown which had been in her hands for a while.

"Sure!"

To prepare for tomorrow’s charity banquet, Nolan volunteered to have Diamond wear one of his gowns. It wasn’t part of the gowns which were going to be showcased during the fashion show in the coming week.

Diamond came with extra special gowns, in case of any event such as this happening, and they were safely stored in the storage ring.

However, if she could wear something else and save herself from wearing those expensive gowns which would make even master thieves interested in her due to the gems sewn in on them, she was willing to do so.

That was why, despite purchasing a few of them during her shopping spree earlier, when Nolan volunteered, she agreed.

It’s just that until now, she hadn’t tried any of the gowns yet.

With three gowns to choose from, Diamond started being serious.

Changing in and out of a gown was much pretty easier with someone by her side.

In her eyes, as she changed in front of Nolan, he was just a designer and a friend. Not even once did she think of him as a man at all.

Luckily, Nolan didn’t get fazed for too long after seeing Diamond’s body with only lingerie on it.

There was no lust of such kind in her gaze, so he knew that she wasn’t doing this on purpose. In her mind, she probably thought of him, not as a man. And that made him feel relieved.

Check all three gowns. It didn’t take too much time.

In less than an hour, they were done, and the choice was made.

Diamond pointed at the gown, which she loved more than the others and decided on that.

With the gown chosen, Nolan and she went through her closet to find matching jewelry and shoes.

They had other things to deal with the next day, so they were in a rush to find everything before going to bed.

With everything sorted out, Nolan was drowsily, and they had no choice but to part for the night.

Diamond watched Nolan enter his suite before she closed her door.

Checking the time on the wall, she smiled wryly, thinking of how time had quickly flown.

Before going to bed, she freshened up and wore a warm pajama and not the one she was wearing earlier.

The foundation was moving in the right order, and Kiara managed to settle the issue of the orphanage. Seeing the contract on the screen, she felt like rewarding the hard-working lawyer so much.

With the orphanage acquired, which was closer to the school that she owned, the two could now go under serious renovations.

When the renovations are done, they would start looking for kids who really deserve the services.

She wasn’t going to waste resources on people who didn’t deserve it at all.

The second farm dam was coming along pretty well. When she returns, the dam should be dug out completely. She would just need to add the water seed and witness a miracle happening.

She couldn’t wait.

The other important matter that Nancy was dealing with concerned the two companies, the trading company and the lending business.

The staff were already recruited, and now all that remained was to let them start.

Diamond planned for these two companies to open officially on the 1st of March. However, before she returns to the country, there won’t be any external activities happening.

Rather, everyone would be under training. Before they worked for her, she wanted to tailor them according to her needs, and she happened to have the perfect teacher for that.

With all emails read and issues addressed, Diamond didn’t have any more reason to keep on being awake.

There were several activities she needed to do tomorrow, so she might as well sleep early.

With that in mind, Diamond put away her tablet, switched off the night lamp and drifted to sleep.
