Clap. Clap. Clap.
It wasn’t certain where the applause started from but the stadium had all the people standing in ovation, applauding this moment and fans cheering, "Encore. Encore. Encore," as they waved their light sticks in the air.
Diamond standing in front of such a huge crowd felt surreal.
She never knew that one day she could actually stand in front of so many people and sing. On top of that, she could sing so well and make the people chant encore. Wasn’t this what every single artist out there craved?
Even Z was feeling emotional as he listened to his fans cheering and asking for more from them. It’s been a while since he felt like that. He wasn’t someone who sang a lot of emotional songs and yet because he heard her voice, he couldn’t help but want a collaborate with her, and it seemed that his choice and determination were all worth it.
The other members were envious when they saw all that but they were happy for their other members. After all, Z’s popularity meant theirs as well. It was a win-win situation.
The happiest were the management who despite the risks involved if this collaboration failed still went ahead and signed that contract.
Seeing the fans so happy and accepting this collaboration, a one of its kind, the smiles on their faces couldn’t be wiped.
With fans cheering for an encore, honestly, Z didn’t know what to do. Thankfully, some people knew what to do and helped the duo out of this tricky situation.
"Did you enjoy the duet right now?"
[Yes! We did!] the fans excitedly responded, their voices echoing throughout the stadium.
Upon hearing that, the savior motioned for Z to take over and the other felt grateful as he resumed from where the other just left off.
"Thank you for loving the song. This is my surprise for all of you. I am glad that you like it," Z sincerely thanked the fans as he bowed earnestly towards the people who had made him who he is today.
Diamond watched as Z interacted with the fans with a smile on her face. After changing her clothes, she wore a white outfit with sparkling ornaments on it while Z wore black. They looked like a pair and their visuals were very striking.
"Are you curious about the beautiful sister who is standing with me today?"
[Yes!]
[Encore!]
Z chuckled lightly as he looked at Diamond and the other nodded at him with a smile as if saying go ahead and do it.
With her permission, though he didn’t need it, Z finally introduced Dimond to his fans.
"Her name is Diamond and ..."
For those who had seen the tending searches, they finally got who Diamond was. It suddenly dawned on them why she was promoting the concert yesterday. It was because she was collaborating with Z. It made sense now.
With Diamond’s introduction to the crowd, Diamond also took the mic and said a few words before she and Z walked away from the stage. As for the encore business, what did that have to do with her?
When they saw that she wasn’t against the idea, they showed her the song that they hoped she could join.
From the words of the directors, the female artist who was supposed to be singing with the boys couldn’t make it. So, the boys we replanning on singing alone but now they hoped that she could join them.
Hearing that it was the plea from the boys and recalling how nice those kids were, she didn’t reject the offer but agreed to it.
She just needed to check the rehearsal video of the song and see what she was supposed to do.
The viewers were worried though seeing that Diamond agreed to perform abruptly. What if she messed up?
Unfortunately, she couldn’t read their comments. So, they could only watch her as she watched the video repeatedly in earnest.
The concert continued and Diamond wasn’t idle as she changed into another outfit for the song. In the process, she left for the restroom for a moment before returning with a confident smile on her face.
After repeatedly learning the song and dance moves in the Golden Space, how could she not be confident?
There was no way she was going to mess things up and fail her fans who were proud of her a while ago.
Besides, she knew the mentality of idol fans. These people were two-faced snakes. If things go wrong, all blame will be on her head.
She didn’t dare mess around.
