"Phew~ we are finally leaving this place!" Ruby exclaimed with relief as they got far away from the airport.
No one would understand the pressure she was under a moment ago when suddenly a group of fans rushed towards them.
Diamond, being the holy mother she was, didn’t turn down the fans and happily gave away autographs. Thankfully, there was security from the airport, plus the Hopeguard force was there to protect them, so there wasn’t any security issue to be worried about.
It’s just that the enthusiasm of people can be scary. She was worried for a moment that they wouldn’t be able to go home in time and meet their anxious parents.
Thankfully, they were leaving now.
Diamond chuckled gleefully at her sister’s reaction.
However, she didn’t say anything, afraid of triggering the other.
As a result, she waited until Ruby calmed down before she started bombarding her with questions.
Diamond was ready to answer, so the sisters had a great time all the way to the villa complex, where they found their parents and Janet waiting for them outside.
Seeing her parents, whom she hadn’t seen in nearly a month, Diamond’s tears welled in her eyes.
It has really been a long time, being apart from them.
This distance was magnified this time and was different from when they would be in Taco and them in Frin. It felt as if she had traveled to another planet for a moment and was now back home.
She felt emotional seeing them, and so were they.
Ruby watched tearfully as the three hugged for a moment. It was indeed good to be back. The family was now complete. She couldn’t help but smile brightly as she hurried towards them to join for a group hug.
In the end, Garnet was pulled in by Diamond, and the Perry family was now gathered in one place.
Janet felt emotional as she looked at this. She couldn’t help but miss her daughter.
It’s been a while since she last saw her.
Fortunately, the touching moment didn’t last long before everyone helped each other to bring the suitcases, the painting and the safe box into the villa.
As the suitcases were taken inside, Ruby especially was more curious about the goodies that were inside.
Were there clothes, food or something else?
Her sister never stops to amaze them, she couldn’t help it.
When they got inside, Diamond selected four suitcases and set them aside before she had the other two carried to her bedroom.
After bringing the two suitcases, painting and a safe box to her bedroom, she returned downstairs where her family was gathered, looking at the four suitcases as if they wanted to tear them apart and check what was inside.
Seeing their eagerness, she became fascinated at the thought of revealing what she had brought for them.
Without further ado, Diamond pointed at the first suitcase, pushed it towards her parents and said, "I packed a few things for you inside. You deal with it," leaving everything to them.
What just happened?
Unaware of Janet’s train of thought, the family of four watched as Diamond closed the suitcase and explained, "The remaining clothes are gifts I bought for Nancy and Kiara. Those two had been doing an exceptional job."
It was only then, did the rest understood that Diamond had bought gifts for others. However, that didn’t make them feel sour. Remembering those who help you and relieve you of your burdens was a good thing and not a bad one.
As for the last suitcase, it was the one which gave them a lot of surprise.
"Sis, did you smuggle food into the country?" Ruby asked in a whisper upon seeing all kinds of cooked food in the suitcase.
Diamond grinned as she thumped her sister up. "You know me well. How could I not bring food for everyone to eat?"
Ruby’s eyes squinted happily at hearing that.
She had been salivating while watching Diamond eat during the broadcasts. She wished she was there with her to have a taste of the food. But seeing the food now, her sister looked more angelic than before.
Thinking about her sister’s capabilities, she couldn’t help but size her before her gaze stopped at her hands and asked, "Sis, you smuggled more than that, didn’t you?" recalling that her sister owned a storage ring, and it happened to be on that hand.
Suddenly, all eyes were on her.
Was that the case?
Their eyes shone at the thought of that.
