When Diamond saw the split screens on the projected hologram, a smile blossomed on her face as she picked a few questions to respond to.
By the time she finished answering the question, the short strength training was finally done, and the group was drinking some water to quench their thirst and preparing to start running.
"I can see that you are all wondering what is happening today and just like I have mentioned through today’s title. I will be doing a late marathon training. You all know that I will be running in two days, right?" with a smile on her face, she interacted.
She read a few interesting comments and laughed heartily as she looked at the guys, who seemed to be ready to start.
Diamond gave them a nod to signify that they would be starting at any time soon. Inside the office, which provided a good view of what was happening in the stadium, a message was received.
When the people inside saw the message, they didn’t play any games but went straight to business.
"I just want to test myself and see how far I can go. I don’t want to embarrass the foundation that I am representing, myself or even the wonderful people who support me sincerely."
"Oh! Do you want to come and support me? Hehe, you said it. You must come but only when you don’t have anything to do," she answered to the people commenting about wanting to come and support her.
[Hehe, it will be the weekend. We don’t have anything to do.]
[It would be better if there were banners.]
[She didn’t put on any merch for us to buy. It would be great wearing it.]
Suddenly, the comment section started drifting from the main topic, and a wry smile appeared on her face. Why were these people so obsessed with spending money?
However, she didn’t berate them this time, but responded playfully, as her eyes looked towards the screen, which was showing a countdown. Something that she was waiting for.
"Instead of talking about the merch and banners. If you want to support me this time, how about bringing some water and energy snacks?" she suggested playfully as she looked at the guys and pointed towards the screen.
When the five saw that, they gave her a thump up, showing that they got it. With everyone on the same page, she was at ease.
The countdown was nearly getting to zero, so the hologram screen vanished into thin air, which meant that she wouldn’t be able to read any more comments from now on. But what wasn’t bad, as reading them, would only slow her down.
Once the countdown reached zero, the five of them started running at a steady pace. Diamond knew that this kind of thing wouldn’t tire her out.
The extensive training, she does in the space nearly daily is too much. This was an appetizer for her.
As she ran steadily, she didn’t forget to address her fans.
"If you want to support me, then don’t forget to visit the foundation’s booth. There will be many surprises for you on that day. You can check the foundation’s website tomorrow. They should be updating that for you."
She still remembered how wonderful that old lady who helped her back then was. At this moment, she couldn’t help but be curious about her.
However, unknown to Diamond, that lady was watching the broadcast with a smile. Pride on her face as if she was looking at her own daughter.
She was happy to see that the young lady who came to her nearly a year ago never let her down. Just like she promised to her back then, she had been doing a great job.
Thanks to her, she even received great praise and bonuses from the higher-ups.
She had witnessed how the DIAMOND OF HOPE Foundation had grown up from being a small organization to where it was now.
In less than a year, the amount of money they have spent was higher compared to even the big companies who always clamor to be doing charity.
As someone in the know, she knew that the young lady there acting like the ambassador was the person behind the foundation.
And the majority of the money spent by the foundation came from her pockets.
Having such a kind of person who didn’t boast about her giving, the higher ups were more eager to keep her in the city.
They didn’t want to let this kind of person leave. That would be a great loss.
