The next day, the Perry family’s plans revolved around the elders and, as the youngest ones, Diamond and Ruby only had to follow what they planned.
As a result, they were dragged to the farm where Ma Perry wanted to buy a lot of chicken to bring back to Taco town.
Diamond couldn’t stop her, so she watched helplessly as she paid for the chicken as well as the vegetables.
Seeing her mother like that, she was reminded of the vegetables in the space and decided to give as much as she could to her mother when they were home.
After the trip to the farm, the family of four visited the mall, where they went on a shopping spree, mainly for the parents. Ruby and Diamond had a lot of clothes and didn’t want anything else.
They just happily accompanied their parents.
While they were shopping, Diamond received a notification from Andrea, which brought a bright smile to her face.
In the end, she excused herself from the group and hurried elsewhere.
Seeing her leaving in such a hurry, Ma and Pa Perry couldn’t help but wonder as they looked at Ruby and asked, "What do you think your sister is up to?"
Ruby helplessly shrugged, completely in the dark about what was going on. She was curious as well.
"It should be something important, seeing how she left us here!" Ruby surmised after some thought.
The parents nodded, agreeing to that, and continued with their shopping.
In the middle of shopping, the two parents who had some concerns couldn’t help but squeeze their youngest daughter for some answers now that Diamond wasn’t around.
"Dear, is your sister seeing anyone?"
"She has been very close to that Wyatt guy. Could there be anything?"
When Ruby heard those questions, she looked at her parents with a dumbfounded expression.
To be honest, in their family, they had never really talked about such things openly. At least with her, it wasn’t like that. To suddenly hear about their curiosity like that, she was taken aback for real.
"Mom .... Dad .... You guys ..... hehe, aren’t you supposed to ask sister this?" she asked nervously as she scratched her head, not knowing what to say.
However, the two gave her the side eye and upon seeing that, she gave in.
"From what I have seen, I don’t think that she is seeing anyone yet but might be busy casting the net," Ruby truthfully answered, sharing her thoughts with the couple.
She had broken up over six weeks ago. It would be unreasonable and questionable if she were to get into a new relationship that soon. Although she was certain that her sister was capable of doing anything.
In her eyes, she could see that her sister was building feelings. Casting the net and causing ripples in the hearts of those that she was interested in.
Although there wasn’t any news yet, Ruby believed that it wouldn’t be long before her sister was taken.
With a glance, she could tell that she had been recognized, and the feeling was phenomenal.
Diamond stepped forward with a smile on her face, though her face couldn’t be seen with the mask on her face.
However, for the receptionist, who was a huge fan, it was impossible for her to not recognize those eyes.
"Hello!" Diamond greeted the receptionist with a warm tone and the reaction was rewarding.
"Hello, Diamond! It’s great seeing you in person. I hope that you didn’t come across any difficulties along the way!" the receptionist fan enthusiastically said as she rose to her feet. Her words were spoken very fast, she sounded like she was rapping.
Diamond chuckled heartily when she saw the other like that. It’s been a while since she came face-to-face with a fan. The feeling still made her heart thump in a good way.
Diamond removed the mask from her face, making the receptionist squeal.
"The journey was fine, dear. Do you want a pic and an autograph?" she asked teasingly as she looked at the other.
She thought that dealing with this matter now was the best way, as it might be difficult to deal with it once she got her goods.
The receptionist was very happy with that.
She readily gave away her phone.
