The plane landed in Dielas City without any problems around past ten.
Diamond successfully managed to travel without causing any trouble. At the airport, she was picked up by a deluxe cab, which Andrea booked for her while she was on the plane.
The cab took her straight to the ELM BLISS where her luxurious pentsuites, which she barely lived in, were located.
When she got there, the receptionists alongside some tenants who knew her were quite surprised upon seeing her. However, since they weren’t besties, Diamond only exchanged pleasantries but didn’t chat longer.
Diamond took the elevator to the 96th floor and when she got there, she was alone.
Diamond pulled her suitcase to her penthouse door and couldn’t help but take a look at the other penthouse where Vivian lived.
’Is she there?’ she incredulously wondered, thinking about how nice the other person was.
Diamond shook her head and chuckled at herself for being a busybody.
"Dear, unlock the door!" she instructed as she reached the door.
Creak.
The door opened instantly before she could even stop, and a smile blossomed on her face.
Her penthouses were all securely locked by Andrea. She didn’t even need the key cards as long as he was there.
When the door opened, she stepped into the penthouse where she hadn’t been in a very long time.
Vroom.
Grrrrr.
Inside, she was greeted by the cleaning robots, busy going in circles, cleaning the house.
She smiled at these hard-working small robots as she made her way to the bedroom.
Diamond didn’t unpack her suitcase. She wasn’t planning on spending many days at the penthouse, to be honest. Her focus was on the manor, so her days should be spent there.
She threw herself on the bed and took out her phone to make a call.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
After a few rings, the phone was picked up, and a respectful voice sounded in the room. [Good morning, Miss!]
Diamond smiled as soon as she heard that person’s voice. "Hello, Butler Hilary. I hope that you are well."
[Haha, everything is fine. Just finishing up some touches. Are you in the city already?]
"Um. I arrived a while ago. Can you send a car to pick me up at the ELM BLISS complex around four or five there?"
[Sure. I will come and pick you up personally. Should I have dinner prepared at that time?]
"Nope. Let it be prepared when I am there."
[Okay. I will do as you instruct me to do.]
Diamond and the butler chatted for a while before the call ended.
Once it ended, Diamond posed for a selfie or two before posting online, remembering her fans who wanted something from her all the time.
" .... You’re the heartbeat in my song,
With you, I know where I belong."
"And your studies?" she asked lazily, lying on the bed for some relaxation as she talked.
[Sis, when it comes to that. There is no need to worry. We are geniuses. Have you forgotten?]
Diamond chuckled, hearing the playful tone in the caller’s tone.
Thinking about the deal and how it wouldn’t affect her much, just because more people were going to get a piece of it, she found no reason to make her life horrible.
"Fine. I will welcome you."
[Yeyyyyyyyy~~~ Sis, you rock!] the callers exclaimed excitedly, their screams so loud, Diamond had to close her ears for a moment so that her ears wouldn’t be affected by the noise.
She let them scream for a bit longer before they spoke. [Thank you, sis. We will wait for the itinerary then. Take care and love you.]
Without giving Diamond a second to respond, the call was hung up, leaving her speechless.
’Is this what they call throwing after use?’
She chuckled as she spread her limbs on the bed, dumbfounded at how shameless those twins were.
Thinking about the twins, Diamond couldn’t help but think about Dean as well.
Was he still with his girlfriend he loved so much?
’Ouch~ it hurts!’ she exaggeratedly thought as she clutched her heart at the thought of Dean marrying someone else in the future.
How nice it would be if she met him first.
What a pity!
