Chapter 736: Chapter 734: RADIANCE MANOR 4

Later that evening, Hilary picked Diamond up at the ELM BLISS penthouse.

Although it was a pity that she couldn’t stay there as long as she wanted, she couldn’t ignore the work at the manor as well.

On the way to the manor, she listened attentively to Hilary, who reported everything diligently to her, though Andrea had already done such a good job by keeping her updated.

When they arrived, the first thing she noticed was the magnificent gate with the golden gate sign, which was truly attracting thieves of all sizes.

Anyway, seeing that, she felt terrific and felt her ego scratched a bit. Wealth was meant to be shown off at times. And since she planned to have all sorts of rich people grace the manor, then she needed to empty her pockets a bit more.

What was only missing was a trustworthy gateman, and she happened to know whom she could use to be at ease all the time.

The car glided on the road, which was now tarred and no longer dusty like before. They didn’t use the secret path which leads directly to the main garage but took the long route. By doing so, Diamond managed to see for herself the changes which had occurred at the manor.

While going up the mountain, she couldn’t help but look at the empty space near the secret door and think of another project that she believed would make the guests come back for more in the future.

After a while, they finally reached the manor. And looking at the building, which inspired her a bit when designing her ancestral home, she couldn’t help but look at it admiringly.

It was a pity that she couldn’t have an underground base like the one that was at the manor. But considering that the ancestral home was a home, perhaps that kind of luxury wasn’t needed.

When she arrived, all the staff came out to welcome her respectfully, and she readily accepted that. When all the pleasantries were exchanged, Diamond dismissed everyone and made her way to her building which was exclusively left for her.

She informed Hilary that she would call for dinner later. Unless she calls, no one should disturb her.

Once the orders were made, she went into the building and locked it. Diamond was in a hurry to do something that she had delayed for a very long time.

Diamond contacted the ghost merchants, who had something that Andrea needed but hadn’t gotten yet.

While doing so, she was making her way through the secret passages and going to the secret base where Andrea had his robot project.

By the time she got there, she found the ten merchants already waiting for her and they looked mightier than when she last saw them.

These were the robots that Diamond planned on using at the manor once they were done. By adding one robot to the security issue, she would be at ease knowing that there was at least something that she could control without feeling pressured.

The other two robots, she knew where to put them. She just needed to wait until Andrea was done and from what she heard; it wouldn’t be long.

Once she was done with the matters in the secret base, Diamond made her way back to the building where she called Hilary about her dinner.

It was brought to her, and she ate with relish.

After dinner, Diamond took a nice soak and rested on the bed as she responded to the messages sent by her friends as well as Gael.

Talking about Gael, he was a persistent young man who, despite how busy he was, always made sure to send a message to her daily. That was something that she had missed. Even when she was with the twins, she had never been treated in such a manner. It made her look at Gael favorably.

There wasn’t much for her to do that night, so once she was tired of chatting, she rested early and looked forward to the next day.
