Chapter 100
Paulette looked at her with a flirtatious look, her face turned red all of a sudden, and she stammered, “What are you talking about? No way.”
She and Jeremiah have only kissed once so far, nowhere near that level.
Cecilia obviously didn’t believe it, she raised her eyebrows and said with
a
a smile, “It’s okay if you’re not feeling well, if it’s really bad, I’ll give you a day off.”
“You really don’t have to!”
Paulette was at a loss.
Her gaze made me feel uncomfortable, so I stood up and pushed Cecilia’s shoulder, “Ms. Gomez, please don’t take me for granted. I still have a pile of papers to grade. You go do your thing!”
Pushed Cecilia back to the office, Paulette let out a long sigh of relief.
Jessica hasn’t had any news so far, and I don’t know how she’s doing.
However, as soon as she sat down at her desk, Jessica’s phone rang.
“Are you okay?” Jessica may be fearless, but she’s not heartless. Caught by her fiance yesterday, she felt a bit guilty. “Is your fiance giving you a hard time?”
Paulette felt bad for blaming herself for everything, and said, “It’s okay, I didn’t do anything.”
“That’s true.”

Jessica was still lying in bed, she turned over and lay on her stomach.

“But your fiance doesn’t look like someone to mess with at all,” she said, remembering Jeremiah’s look from last night, inexplicably giving her the chills. “Tsk, I won’t dare to bring you along for this kind of thing in the future.”
Paulette thought it was refreshing, “Are you scared of him?”
“I’m not scared either.”
“What’s that?”
“It just feels like he’s really wicked.” Jessica propped her face with one hand and muttered, “He looks easygoing and laid–back, but those eyes are just irresistible. I’m starting to worry about your married life, Paula.”
Jeremiah and Nelson, they were like two completely different people.
Nelson, you know.
There was something wrong with his character, Jessica couldn’t be bothered to judge him.
Jeremiah was different.
He seemed harmless at first glance, but if you provoked him, it felt like he could easily bite you to death.
Paulette also thought for a moment and sighed, “Don’t say you, even I am very worried.”
The two of them discussed this topic and came to a conclusion – you must firmly establish your position before marriage to avoid losing your status in the family after marriage.
