Chapter 18
“I’m not going back with you!” Katherine said coldly. “I divorced you a long time ago and I don’t want to see
you. Get out!”
“That was the divorce agreement you tricked me into signing, it doesn’t count!”
Andrew held her tightly in his arms and incoherently said, “Katherine, I never thought of divorcing you. I had planned to wait until Sarah gave birth to the child and then, in an adoption manner, hand it over to you for
nurturing!”
“I promised you that I would be responsible for you for a lifetime…”
“You don’t need to explain to me,” Katherine pushed him away, her expression cold. “Andrew, I am now happily with someone who loves me. Please stop bothering me, okay?”
“Katherine, I bought back the gifts you sold that were given to me. I also replanted the rose garden for you.
Come back home with me and take a look, hmm?”
Andrew completely ignored her words and raised the wedding ring in his hand, saying, “The wedding ring you
lost, I have also found it. Shall we start over?”
“Tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock, we went to get our marriage certificate, and then we went to Tidalis for a
vacation…”
“Not good!”
Katherine shrugged off his touch, her tone icy. “Andrew, four years ago I had already decided that I didn’t want you anymore, do you understand?”
“I was your stepfather’s person, your future stepmother, you should stop being so stubborn!”
Andrew was stung by these words, and his tall figure trembled violently, instantly turning his eyes red.
In an instant, he forced himself to remain calm and said, “It’s all my fault for not realizing my true feelings in the past, not knowing how much I cared about you.”
“It’s okay, if you don’t want me, I want you. I am willing to spend my whole life to atone for my mistakes!”
Dominic pushed the door open and his face darkened. “Andrew, why were you bothering my woman instead of recuperating in the hospital? Put her down and get out!”
“She was clearly my wife, when did she become your woman?” Andrew looked at him, his eyes blazing with anger. “Four years ago, if it wasn’t for you forcefully taking Katherine abroad, why would I have been
separated from her for so long?”
Without Katherine, I was like a walking dead all day, and yet you kept her whereabouts from me and even tried to possess her, which is so shameless!
Dominic kicked him fiercely, his expression fierce. “You have the audacity to accuse me, she sincerely wanted to live with you, and you deceived her with a fake marriage certificate. Have you lost your conscience?”
“You betrayed her and had an affair, and even made her peel so many durians just to vent your anger towards someone who intervened in your relationship. It caused her to go into shock and lose consciousness. If you examine your conscience, are you a qualified husband?”
“I was inadequate, and where are you better than me?” Andrew propped himself up on the ground, struggling to get up, and threw a punch at Dominic while waving his hand. “An elder, intentionally trying to snatch my daughter-in-law as his wife, is this something a person would do?”
