Kyle went closer to the wall and touched it.
'That's pretty solid, but I can actually sense it with my Ether Sense. That means it's made of different materials.'
Kyle used his Ether Sense to analyze the wall, and he found some familiar Ether in it.
'There's a lot of Ether in there. Most of it is Metal Ether, but there is also Earth Ether. There is no Fire Ether or Wind Ether in there, but there are other kinds of Ether.'
'It's not that easy to sense since I don't have an Affinity for them, but I think that's Darkness Ether and Light Ether.'
Kyle narrowed his eyes and looked at his hand.
A moment later, a small black ball appeared in his hand.
Darkness Ether.
One had to remember that one could technically summon whatever Ether they wanted, even if they didn't have an Affinity for this kind of Ether.
It just took over ten times the Ether to conjure this kind of Elemental Ether. It also took far more focus, was slower, and the Ether was rather unstable.
Just as Kyle could conjure Darkness and Light Ether, eagles could walk on the ground. Yet, using Darkness and Light Ether to battle would be like asking an eagle to hunt without flying. It might work in some cases, but only against enemies that were far weaker than they were.
'Yep, that's Darkness Ether inside that wall,' Kyle thought as he compared his own Darkness Ether to the Darkness Ether inside the wall.
Then, he did the same thing with Light Ether and confirmed that the wall also had Light Ether inside of it.
'That should be it,' he thought. 'Four kinds of Ether are in that wall.'
'Metal Ether and Earth Ether. The stone above the Anti-Wind has these kinds of properties.'
'And as for Light and Darkness Ether…'
Kyle glanced to the west, towards the place where the Duchess of Twilight was.
'She has Darkness and Light Ether. I wonder, did she use the Metal-Earth Stone to create a new material by fusing it with her Darkness and Light Ether?'
'If so, she was the one who built the wall.'
'I mean, it would make sense. She said she's been here for over ten thousand years and that she is also the Overseer. If the world didn't create this wall by itself, it must have been her.'
Kyle touched the wall again and pushed on it.
He had a lot of experience when it came to analyzing materials, and he quickly managed to analyze the material to some degree.
'If I go all out, I think I could break through this thing,' Kyle thought. 'I just need to launch a bunch of attacks with all my strength, and I would be able to slowly dig a hole into it. Although that would be akin to using a spoon, or several spoons, to dig through a prison wall. It will take forever, and I have to go through a lot of spoons.'
'If I can do that, Emperor Winterfire can also do that. He could've made a hole in the wall to assault the Skysand Kingdom from behind. The fact that he didn't do that gives more credibility to my theory. The wall was made by the Duchess of Twilight, and she doesn't want anyone to get to the area behind it.'
'Wonder what's behind there.'
Kyle smirked.
'Well, there's a way to find out!'
The next moment, Kyle shot into the ground and rapidly descended.
He reached the Metal-Earth Stone rather quickly and kept going down.
'Just as expected, the wall also extends underground,' he thought as he looked at the black wall beside him.
Eventually, he reached the Anti-Wind.
