It didn't take a lot of time for Kyle to learn the Fragment of Fire Expansion. It only took about a month since he had already learned so much about it in the past.
Kyle looked at the small sphere of fire in his hand with interest.
The next moment, it expanded to a size of over two meters.
The intensity of the heat had not dropped at all, despite barely using more Ether.
'This is crazy,' Kyle thought. 'This sphere is already quite powerful. I only learned a Fragment, but this thing already has the power of a Spell from a Peak Grand Sorcerer.'
'But that also makes sense. Spells are just ways to harness the power of an Element. Spells essentially just mimic Laws and Fragments. The best way to increase the power of an Element is to know the Law or a Fragment of it.'
Kyle remembered what the Duchess of Twilight had said.
Complex Laws.
'From what I gathered, Complex Laws are fusions of Pure Laws. Pure Laws describe how a fundamental aspect of existence works, while a Complex Law is probably a way to combine these fundamental aspects to create even more power.'
'Techniques and Spells try to imitate Pure Laws. With my Methods, I tried to combine different Fragments.'
'Yet, I think that's just a worse version of a Complex Law.'
'Honestly, I'm not sure if there is any reason for my Methods to exist at this point. Everything seems to revolve around Laws.'
Kyle thought about what he wanted to gain.
The power of a meteorite.
'After I finish the Law of Fire, I have to combine my three Laws. I need to take three Laws and combine them into one Complex Law.'
'That will take a lot of work,' he thought.
Then, he looked downward.
'I could become a Transcendent within a couple of days by just consuming Yin-Wind. At that point, I wouldn't need to be worried about anything anymore, and I would essentially have infinite time in the Transcendent Realm.'
Kyle sighed and shook his head. 'But that would be stupid. I got a bonus in the Third Realm because I understood several Fragments. That's how I got the Law Sparks.'
'The Duchess of Twilight said that every Realm has such a bonus, which means the Transcendent Realm also must have one.'
'I need to build on my advantages. The Duchess of Twilight is obviously very talented since she's reached a level barely anyone could reach, according to her. Yet, no matter how hard she works, she can't take that last step.'
'She also said that she only had two or three Law Sparks in the Third Realm. If she had four Law Fragments, maybe she could have understood another Law before becoming a Transcendent, which would have given her another advantage. With that advantage, she might have been able to take that last step.'
'I can't just advance because it's convenient for me. I should keep going at it.'
Kyle sighed. 'That also means spending a shitload of time comprehending my Complex Law before advancing.'
'Yeah, well, whatcha gonna do? Just gotta keep at it.'
Kyle shrugged and returned to comprehending more about fire.
Luckily, nobody disturbed him.
Only the Duchess of Twilight and Sebastian knew where he was, and none of the other Transcendents would dare to come here.
Kyle essentially had all the time in the world already, but he still felt like he was a bit in a time crunch. π³ππ²ππ πππ»πΌπ§π²π₯.πππ¦
'Am I too greedy?' he thought. 'Also, am I seriously considering this?'
Naturally, Kyle was considering his Momentum.
The three Transcendents of the Winterfire Empire wouldn't be there forever.
Specifically, Emperor Winterfire was already very old.
Sebastian and Kyle had already killed a Transcendent while working together.
However, with some more comprehension, they might be able to kill a Transcendent on their own.
Kyle's target was not the Imperial Advisor.
No, his target was Emperor Winterfire.
The reason was simple.
The Imperial Advisor was probably less of a threat than the former Second Advisor, and Kyle's power had already dramatically increased since then.
If he learned the Law of Fire as well, his power would reach incredible levels.
Back when Kyle had fought the Second Advisor, he hadn't even known a single Law.
