Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1463

“So let’s just wish each other the best. And let Andre know for me—my sharp tongue isn’t going anywhere.”

Mia: “We’re not even talking—tell him yourself.”

Molly: “I would, but honestly, I’m too scared.”

After a while, Molly piped up, “So... where are you sleeping tonight?”

Mia snapped a quick video of the three kids sprawled out and sent it over.

Seconds later, Molly replied, “Door’s open—get over here, girl.”

Meanwhile, out in the hall, the two guys were deep in conversation when the bedroom door suddenly creaked open. To their surprise, Jade—supposedly fast asleep—appeared, clutching a pillow like a shield.

The first time Jade saw Andre and Chad together like this, she froze for a split second.

But once she was out there, she had no choice but to act brave, even with both men watching her every move. Turning back now would just make her look even more like a chicken.

She squared her shoulders, power-walked to the kids’ room, and knocked. “Mia?”

The door swung open, and Andre caught sight of his little wife.

Jade zipped inside, slammed the door, and locked it with a decisive click.

Inside, Jade blurted, “Mia, those two were glaring at me so hard just now—I thought I’d drop dead on the spot! My legs felt like I was walking on razor blades.”

“Shh! Keep your voice down—they’re right outside. They can totally hear you.”

Outside the door, the two men exchanged a silent look. Great. Both their wives had barricaded themselves in the kids’ room.

Molly was still going, “When I strutted past them with my head held high, pretending they were invisible, did I look like a total boss or what?”

Mia snickered, “Why don’t you go back out and give me a live demo?”

“No way. With those two standing guard, nothing good can come of it. They give me the creeps.”

The guys could still pick up every word through the door.

“Deal.”

Mia added, “Looks like our moms are coming back tomorrow.”

“About time. They’ve been gone forever. If my mom doesn’t get back soon, my dad’s going to call her ten times a day,” Molly groaned.

Mia sighed, “I can’t even go back to my parents’ place now—my dad will just yell at me.”

After all, it was her bright idea to send her mom on vacation in the first place.

The two women chatted late into the night, eventually drifting off to sleep.

Half the curtains were left open, and the morning sun poured in, bathing all five of them in golden light.

Henry woke up sleepy-eyed, saw his mom nearby, and nuzzled closer, snuggling into her arms to keep snoozing.

Wayne was using his mom’s hair as a pillow, while Molly tucked him in, gently patting his little bottom—a perfect snapshot of mother-son peace and love.
