Molly nodded. “Sounds good, I’m off the day after tomorrow. Let’s go gift shopping together. The more we buy, the more it shows how much the Cedillo family appreciates Anya.”
The sisters grinned and sealed the deal with a high-five. “Wait, where’s my little nephew?” Jade suddenly noticed the call had been suspiciously quiet—no little voice shouting “Auntie!”
“I haven’t seen my son in three days. How would I know?” Molly huffed.
Molly: “…”
Meanwhile, Andre had headed over to his father-in-law’s place and finally reunited with the little boy he’d been missing so much.
Henry and Cooper walked in, hand-in-hand. As soon as they spotted everyone in the living room, Henry squealed, “Daddy!” and hurled himself into Andre’s arms.
Andre scooped him up and swung him high. “Oh, so you do remember your old man? You’ve been having so much fun at your uncle’s place, you almost forgot where home is, huh?”
A few days of play had left Henry wiped out—he definitely needed to recharge.
That night, Henry finally came home. Mia sat cross-legged on the couch, eyeing her son with a smirk. “Well well, look who finally decided to show up—Mr. Henry Cedillo himself.”
“Come here, let Mom give you a hug,” she teased, holding her arms wide.
Even back at home, Henry didn’t really slow down. The next day, he ran into his little brother, Wayne. “Dragon!” he shouted.
“Big bro!” Wayne called back.
At long last, their little “dragon” could speak clearly.
After Anya saw Leo off, he stayed in Willowtown for a few more days. Blake, meanwhile, was glued to his sister’s side. Wherever Anya went, Blake followed like her shadow.
When Anya left to drop Leo off, she wasn’t gone long—but it was long enough for Blake to burst into tears in the living room. He clutched his toy, searching the house for his sister.
