Yvonne stormed into the living room, full of fury.
It was six in the morning, and the servants had already started their work.
When they saw Yvonne arrive, they all stopped what they were doing to greet her.
Yvonne ignored them and asked Zoey, “Where is she?”
Zoey replied, “She’s still asleep.”
Asleep?
Those two words nearly made Yvonne’s brainstem hemorrhage again.
She tossed her bag to Zoey and led two maids upstairs.
The bedroom door wasn’t locked, so the maids easily opened it.
Yvonne walked straight in.
By the light streaming in from the doorway, she saw Wilfred’s arm exposed outside the
covers.
Nestled in his armpit was a woman fast asleep, her hair falling down to cover her cheeks, but the corners of her mouth were still curled in a smug smile.
Yvonne was so angry her teeth ached. She grabbed the woman’s hair and slapped her across
the face.
“You little tramp, how dare

you seduce my son! I’ll ruin your face…”
The woman let out a trembling, broken scream: “Ah, Fred, Fred, help me…‘
Yvonne stopped when she heard the voice.
When she turned on the light, she was instantly dumbfounded: “L–Lena? Why is it you?”

The maids watching at the door weren’t surprised at all.
These two had been flirting for three months already.
Lately, they were always kissing and cuddling. Once, in the garden, they almost hooked up
in the car.
Sleeping together was only natural–they were partners in crime, after all…
Helena looked up at Wilfred with tearful, shimmering eyes, clutching her face.
Obvious marks of passion remained on her neck and chest.
Wilfred’s heart skipped a beat.
A terrible premonition surged over him like a tidal wave, suffocating him.
He sat up and realized that his and Helena’s legs were still entwined. His face instantly turned pale.
“Mom, please go out first.”
“Oh, okay!”
Yvonne agreed twice and left the room, her mind still in a daze.
Just then, Zoey came out of Belinda’s room.
She shot Zoey a glare. “Come downstairs.”
Zoey obediently followed behind Yvonne.
Once they reached the first–floor hall, Yvonne began to scold her:
“Are you blind in your old age? You didn’t even look carefully, and I ended up slapping Lena twice for no reason.”
Zoey looked genuinely shocked.
“Madam, are you saying the woman in bed was Ms. Pollard? Oh my, aren’t she and Mr. Hayden supposed to be siblings? If word gets out…”
“So what if it gets out? They’re not real siblings, there’s no blood relation. If my son wants to sleep with her, he can. Who does it bother?”

“That’s true, Madam, but even if you scold me, I have to remind you: Mr. Hayden and Josephine aren’t divorced yet. This would be considered cheating…”
As she spoke, Zoey glanced at the cameras all around the room.
Yvonne looked up as well.
Several of them were turning.
Just like eyes searching for a target.
Yvonne suddenly remembered that Josephine was into high–tech stuff. Maybe she’d tampered with the cameras. In a panic, she said:
“Unplug them, quick, unplug them all.”
“As soon as Wilfred comes down, I’ll have him go get the divorce certificate with that shrew, so we don’t get caught and bitten back.”
Zoey looked visibly relieved.
In the bedroom.
Wilfred sat up, leaning against the headboard.
His strong upper body was completely exposed as he grabbed a cigarette and lighter from the nightstand.
Soon, the bedroom was lit by the flicker of a cigarette.
Helena thought to herself, the saying was true: once a man and woman sleep together, the man’s attitude changes immediately.
Look at Wilfred now–so at ease in front of her, not even bothering to put on clothes.
Helena secretly admired her handiwork out of the corner of her eye.
The hickey on his Adam’s apple was too light–not eye–catching enough…
But the one on his chest was too hard–he must be in pain and pleasure at the same time…
“What exactly happened last night?” Wilfred exhaled a puff of smoke and asked Helena gloomily.
He clearly remembered that he was resolute–he wouldn’t touch anyone except Josephine.

Helena sniffled. “Fred, you should… ask Dec.”
With that, Helena wrapped herself in the blanket and got out of bed, supporting her waist with one hand.
Her legs were so weak she nearly fell.
Wilfred instinctively tensed up.
Unintentionally, he caught sight of a spot of red on the sheets, and his back stiffened for a
moment.
Helena picked up a shirt–style nightgown from the floor and went into the bathroom.
Wilfred recognized the nightgown–it was one he had bought on a business trip.
At the time, he bought two: one for Josephine, and one he mailed overseas to Lena.
