It hasn't even been a full twenty-four hours and I'm al- ready going crazy about Ledger being gone. I don't know how mates deal with losing their mates in death because mine is still alive, but I feel like dying without having him here with me. I feel like it's all my fault and that's why I am going with Quinn to go get them. I am willing to die myself to get Ledger back here where he belongs. "I, for one, think it's a smart move on your part, Deke." Quinn states without lifting her eyes, "Declan will have to get used to it now, since we are Queen and King." She finally looks up at the Alpha and winks.

"I'm sure he will just love that." Alpha Deke states.

The quiet cabin after everyone stops talking finally lulls me to sleep in my reclining chair. My sleep is fitful, but I never wake up, not until Quinn wakes me up, "Hey sleeping beauty, we are about to land, and I thought you may want to use the restroom before we have to buckle up in case we don't have time when we land."

I sit up and look around the cabin and see that all is still quiet, "Why wouldn't we have time when we land?" I ask a bit confused.

Quinn sighs, "We are dealing with witches who may know exactly when we land. That is why we are landing in the next town, but we still can't be too sure."

I growl as I get up to use the bathroom, "I fucking hate witches!"

Quinn chuckles, "Careful, Spence, your mate is a witch, re- member that."

"Yeah well, at least with him, I can use my charm, and maybe even my smoking hot body." I grumble and they both laugh.
