Angel POV.
The nerve of him. Who the hell does he think he is telling me I have to go with him? Ha, he is a fucking joker and is delusional if he thinks I’m packing our life up here to follow him like a damn puppy. Not happening.
I sit in the kitchen with the light on from under the cabinets as the only source of light. I can’t sleep so here I am sitting drinking a milky drink to try to help me sleep. There is a knock on the door. I look at my phone and see it’s ten at night. I switch the camera on, but I can’t see anything.
I shuffle off the barstool and grab my mug. Boomer is alert, but I hold my finger to my lips and he lays his head back down. I move to the door and open it.
“Savage, it’s ten at fucking …”
“Hello sweetheart.” My mouth drops open as the mug slips from my fingers. Tears burn my eyes as I look at her.
“Momma.” I throw myself into her arms and sob as she soothes me. Her hand running up and down my back.
“Yes, sweetheart. I’m here. Shush now, it’s going to be ok.” I cry like a baby, my body wracked with heartbreaking sobs. A cough draws my attention and I look up and stare into the honey eyes like my own.
“Daddy.” My momma lets me go and I lunge for him and he catches me and I hug him like he will disappear. I have always been a daddy’s girl.
“Can we come in?” He mutters as he kisses the side of my face, and I straighten myself out and nod my head. I run to the kitchen to grab the dustpan and brush to clean up the mess from the porch. I quickly clean the mess and usher them inside.
“He has claimed you and your child. The laws of the MC are similar to ours. Once a claim has been made, it must be honoured. So you will be moving back. But you won’t be alone, you are never alone, princess. You had us all so worried. You have grown more beautiful. Being a mother suits you.” My momma says when a crackle comes through the baby monitor.
“Mommy.” I look at them both.
“You want to meet your granddaughter?” I say and they both smile and nod their heads. I stand and walk up the stairs towards her room and she is standing by the gate.
“Hey baby. You thirsty?” I ask her, cooing as she rubs her eyes, nodding her bedhead. I pick her up and carry her down the stairs.
“Momma, daddy I would like you both to meet a very sleepy Rebel Carlotta Moretti.” I say and they both look at her and she looks at them. My mom has tears streaming down her face, and so does my dad.
