After a long pause, Wynn asked again, "Anything else?"
Jordyn was sipping her drink and didn't quite understand. "Hm? What do you mean?"
"Things your dad did for your mom of his own accord."
Jordyn set down her cup, frowning slightly. "No. After that, Mom caught a fever. Dad kept taking care of her, and he said kids could get infected easily, so he didn't let me near her.
"I only saw Mom again after she got better."
Wynn froze for a moment. "So, after your mom got sick... It was your dad who looked after her?"
"Yeah."
Lowering her gaze, Wynn asked, "That must have been because your nana told him to, right?"
Jordyn shook her head. "No. Mom had a fever even before sunrise yesterday. When Dad found out she was sick, he looked after her himself while calling someone to arrange for Dr. Carter to come by helicopter to treat her.
"Nana only learned Mom was ill after Dr. Carter arrived."
From what Jordyn said, Wynn could already guess who this "Dr. Carter" was. He was, after all, quite well-known in Baumond.
Then, she asked, "So, after Dr. Carter arrived, it was still your dad who took care of your mom? Your dad spent the whole day yesterday looking after her?"
Jordyn nodded. "Uh-huh. Dad stayed with her until she got better."
Wynn fell silent.
Yesterday, she had called Trevor. At first, he didn't pick up.
Worried something had happened, she called Jacob instead, who told her Trevor had phoned him earlier to say he had things to deal with, so some of his scheduled work had been postponed to today.
Hearing that, she thought something urgent must have come up. When she tried calling again, Trevor finally answered.
But at the time, he had simply said it wasn't anything big, just that something at the manor kept him from leaving…
Wynn turned her head toward him.
On the surface, his attitude toward her seemed unchanged from before. But the way he treated Celeste now was undeniably different.
Seeing her lost in thought, Trevor asked, "What's wrong?"
Wynn shook her head. She was about to say something, but stopped.
The reason she had brought the journal out in the first place was that there were quite a few things she didn't understand, and she'd hoped Trevor could help her sort them out.
But now, hearing him say this, she suddenly thought—
If it were Celeste holding the journal, and Trevor asked her about it, he probably wouldn't be saying, 'What don't you understand?'
Instead, he'd be brimming with interest, eager to discuss the deeper points, the controversies, and even the possible flaws in the articles themselves.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
why is there not 5 episodes updated daily like the others on this website...
I read this novel recently. I just feel, it is exhausting being in Celeste shoes. Not getting a clear break, on the other side - Trevor is comfortably two timing and dragging. He is not really worth and should face the consequences. On the other hand, i also feel that probably he is putting on a mask to push Celeste to achieve her dreams and eventually became a hero. However, his attitude and physical relationship with Wynn - is not justifying my this theory. Let's just wait and watch, i hope it is not too much of a drag...
Depressing if Trevor give up Celeste and propose to his mistress! Poor Jordyn. Thank goodness,I am busy with patients' issues. I can stop here....
Will it make difference to Trevor if he knows how his mistress family malign the mother of his daughter even if he and Celeste are divorcing for his mistress?...
Please update atleast 3 chapters a day......
