The Comeback Queen (Phoebe Jenkins) novel Chapter 17

Chapter 17

Lexie really liked Phoebe and wanted to lighten the mood. So, she said to Phoebe, “Hey, aren’t you making straw hats? Why not teach me! I’ll give it a shot and see if I can do it

Phoebe agreed and patiently taught Lexie how to weave a straw hat. Meanwhile, Maddox and James grabbed some chairs and watched them

The comments in the live broadcast room were intense at this moment.

[bs Phoebe out of her mind! She not only went off on Marr but also on Reece. Who does she think she is?]

[I know, right? How can a D–list actress take on the top star and an Oscar winner? Where did she get the guts?]

[Phoebe is so rude to her seniors. I’m starting to dislike her more and more.]

[Marr was just looking out for his sister, but Phoebe totally lost it.

[Yeah, she’s acting crazy

[Reece just thought she was going too far and asked her to stop. What’s her problem! She doesn’t know how to appreciate kindness.)

[No wonder Recce wants to break up with her. She’s so mean. It’s hard to keep the relationship going.]

[What a waste of Reece’s care for her all these years! She’s so ungrateful]

[Phoebe is acting like an angelic bitch, just playing hard to get with Marr and Reece]

[I think she’s doing this on purpose to get attention and publicity |

I can’t agree with what Jamar’s and Reece’s fans are saying 1

[I’m confused. Didn’t Jamar basically order Pheebs to cook at the beginning“]

[Is it wrong to refuse!]

[Does Jamar think he’s the emperor or something! Pheebs doesn’t owe him anything.

[Phecbs never used Reece for resources or publicity. You can’t call her ungrateful |

[They grew up together, but Reece is helping an outsider. No wonder Phechs wants to break up

up with hi

him.]

I’m not anyone’s fan, but honestly, I don’t think Phoebe’s behavior was excessive. It was Jamar who used his power to bully others.] [Finally, someone said what I was thinking. I feel Jamar is so overbearing. Phoebe did the right thing.

[Hey, don’t you think something’s off

[What’s up?]

I always feel

I like th

there’s some drama between Phoebe, Jamar, and Reece.

I think Sienna was eager to drag Jamar back to the kitchen, like she was worried he’d spill something.]

[And what Jamar said earlier makes it seem like he and Phoebe had a thing before.)

It seems like Phoebe is keeping her distance on purpose.]

[I also get the feeling that Phoebe really doesn’t want to deal with them.]

[They’re the ones who started it, for real]

Jamar’s and Reece’s fans are such hypocrites. Ignoring them is just playing hard to get. So ridiculous.]

[By the way, not everyone’s crushing on them.]

II get along great with my brother, but we’ve never been as close and affectionate as Jamar and Sienna.]

Everyone started talking about Phoebe, Jamar, and Sienna’s relationships and how Jamar and Sienna were acting like a couple

Sienna was in the kitchen, powering through the pain in her hands to whip up the last two dishes. There were only four dishes in total, and she traded a portion of each with the shooting crew for some bedding. The four of them sat down to cat together.

. but Sienna really made an effort to present the other three nicely, and they looked pretty appetizing, Jamar and Reece both gave her props for it.

So now, the live broadcast was all about praising Sienna as this warm–hearted girl, thanks to the internet trolls.

Erika had a taste, too, and she thought, “Am I missing something, or are Jamar and Reece totally off? Turns out, the three “normal” dishes were either too bland or too salty, far from delicious.

Yet Jamar and Reece were praising it like it was restaurant–quality, and Erika just wanted to burst out laughing. But she kept her complaints to herself and felt a bit envious of Sienna for having the two top–notch guys on her side.

As it started to get dark, Phoebe and the gang headed back to their rooms. Phoebe brought the reeds back to her room and kept working on weaving the hat.

At first. Lexie struggled to get the hang of it and felt like giving up. But Phoebe was super patient and taught her, which made Lexie again. After a while, she finally got the hang of it, even though it wasn’t fast.
