"We need the public to be involved in our art form. Artists don't create just for themselves to admire their own art," said Claire, showcasing such deep insights at such a young age, which surprised Rita.
"I didn't expect that it was from such pure intention that you've accepted my interview. I thought…" Rita trailed off.
Claire smiled lightly. "You thought what? That I just wanted to become more famous? Well, that's one of my goals. If I become more famous, wouldn't it also mean that more audiences get to know about contemporary dance? My fame and dance are definitely complementary."
Claire's straightforwardness was in stark contrast to the impression she had left on Rita during their first encounter. Rita was deeply impressed by Claire's charm, and the interview proceeded in a very relaxed manner.
"One last question. It's about your personal life, and you don't have to answer if you're not comfortable with it," said Rita.
"Oh, don't worry about it. As a dancer, I'm also a public figure, and if my audience wants to know, I'm willing to share. Unfortunately, I'm single at the moment," Claire replied.
"Oh?" Rita chuckled. "Then may I ask, do you have a type for men?"
Claire smiled coyly and lowered her head. "I like successful men who are responsible."
"Then the interview is officially over. I'll email your agent the interview draft once it's ready, and after you've confirmed there's no mistake, I'll forward it to our editor-in-chief for publication scheduling," Rita explained.
"Alright, goodbye, Rita."
Claire maintained a faint smile on her face throughout the conversation, appearing much more relaxed than on stage. However, as soon as she stepped into her car, her expression changed.
"I'm exhausted. Don't schedule interviews like this for me again." She took out her makeup mirror to touch up her makeup. She still had to make a visit to Sherman's place later.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Day I Kissed An Older Man
This book is a good book, but it’s too short. I hope it has a part two👍🏾...
This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
Great writing! I almost cried when Helen hit Melody! So sad! 😭 can’t wait to see how the relationship with her and Lucas develops though. So tired of the repetitive problems with different people....
Yikes my body tenses so much, my moods change as the scenes change. It leaves me wanting to continue reading....
my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
We have updated progress from 7 chapters/day to 10 chapters/day.<3...
i love grandma Beatrice, there needs to me more people like her in the world straight forward and to the point, no beating around the bush and worrying about offending anyone, why pretend to be someone your not....
looking forward to more chapters, The same thing is happening to Melody as what happened to Luna, if Luna was back maybe she would set Lucas straight, can't wait to see how Lucas handles the situations that will arrive. Poor Melody....
ya Lucas pay more attention to Melody lets see what happens waiting for more chapters thanks...
