The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1216

Marius and the 16 Golden Armor Knights suddenly felt a chilling wind howl toward them.

The gust carried a sharp, bloody scent as it swept through the air.

In all their years, the Eighteen Golden Armor Knights had never met an opponent who made them feel so suffocated.

The overwhelming presence radiating from Robin alone was enough to make it hard for them to breathe.

Marius and the Golden Armor Knights stopped just outside the cave, unable to move forward.

They watched Robin approach, step by step, his body glowing with blinding light.

Divine Drakebane was not the wounded person they thought.

He was, in fact, a terrifying dragon of the East!

Behind him, the white dragon had begun to move.

Its silver-white scales gleamed with a regal brilliance, reflecting the crystalline glow of the ice cave.

Mist swirled through the dragon's lair in an instant.

The white dragon slowly rose, circling above Robin with an air of majesty.

Its piercing crimson eyes locked onto Marius and his men.

The sight alone sent shivers down the spines of the once-proud Golden Armor Knights.

This surreal scene shattered everything they thought they knew.

So the legends of this world weren't just myths after all.

They were only seen as fables because most either lacked the fortune to witness them or didn't live long enough to understand the truth.

This time, Robin didn't reach for the dragon dagger. Instead, he simply extended his right hand.

He took a piece of ice hanging from the roof of the cave, wiped his hand, and slowly raised his eyelids.

"You scum from the Dark Syndicate ... I was planning to deal with you later. I didn't expect you to bring yourselves here."

With a thunderous boom, the ground shook as Robin's fist smashed into the ice wall at the entrance of the dragon's lair.

The ten-foot-thick barrier crumbled in an instant, shattering into evenly shaped fragments.

Marius and his men instinctively retreated a dozen steps.

Before they could even process what had happened, Robin was already standing before them.

A fist came crashing forward.

It moved like a cannonball—so fast they didn't even have time to blink.

At the front, Lauston instinctively raised both arms to block.

Boom! A bone-shattering explosion echoed through the air.

Emrys, a towering figure nearly six-foot-four and close to four hundred pounds, was obliterated by Robin's punch—reduced to pulp.

The strike was so fast and powerful that his body didn't even have a chance to go limp before it exploded midair into a gruesome mist of flesh and blood.

Damn!

Robin looked at the blood mist that had once been Lauston, then at his own fist.

With the essence stone and dragon's blood enhancing him, his body and strength had already surpassed human limits.

A punch like that could easily send an armored vehicle flying.

Robin shrugged at the white dragon hovering above him. "Oops. I lost control and lost your meal. Next one, I won't use my fist, I'll just toss him to you."

A delighted dragon's roar echoed through the air.

The white dragon circled in the air before following closely behind Robin, its gaze filled with warmth and affection.

It even gently brushed its long whiskers against Robin's shoulder, as if it were a loving companion joyfully enjoying the happiness of being loved and cherished.

The sight drove the remaining 16 Golden Armor Knights to the brink of madness.

"We must stop them! We must stop them!

"Those lowly insects were born to atone for their sins!

"They are not worthy of wealth and luxury—they exist only to suffer!

"Otherwise, this world will spiral into chaos!

"The Dark Lord is the supreme being! Without the Dark Lord, this world would not exist!

"The world is already plunging into the abyss, and the commoners are becoming restless.

"They must learn gratitude, to worship the great Dark Lord—only then can order be maintained.

"They must never forget—only the Dark Lord can redeem their sinful souls!"

Robin listened, utterly confused.

Seeing the madness in Marius's eyes and the blank, brainwashed expression on his face, Robin couldn't help but think of Elijah, Bryon, and the Dark Night Alliance.

They were all fighting desperately over ancient relics, each seeking to manipulate the laws governing this world.

With a stomp, Robin shattered Marius's legs. "The core ideology of Dark Syndicate is to keep the people ignorant, to manipulate and control them!

"Spouting nonsense in the name of some so-called god, claiming that all beings were born to suffer for their sins.

"What a load of bullshit!

"This world belongs to all living beings!

"Anyone who claims that the world cannot flourish without them is nothing but a fraud, weaving lies to deceive the people!

"It's just a manipulative doctrine, designed to serve their own hunger for power.

"You, Dark Syndicate, want to control the world? Let me tell you, I will bring justice to this corrupted world!"

Boom. Robin's fist shattered Marius's skull.
