The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1228

At the Foreign Administrative Office of the Quintana Residence in Draconia, the Assistant of Foreign Affairs was reporting to Jethro on the blockade and hostile inspections of Draconia's export trade maritime shipping by the super-wealthy clans from 20 countries.

Despite repeated negotiations with the relevant departments of the Foreign Affairs Bureau, the counterparty remained intransigent.

This had been going on for 20 days.

If this carried on, Draconia's export trade would suffer great losses.

Several large companies were already fined by buyers for the delay.

In just a few days, the Foreign Affairs Bureau had received complaints from several companies.

They had demanded the Foreign Affairs Bureau address the issue relating to maritime shipping conditions.

Jethro very well knew that this farce was orchestrated by the Panacea Ocean Warriors Alliance to pressure the senior officials of Draconia to intervene.

Their true objective, however, remained unclear.

After explaining the situation, the Assistant of Foreign Affairs saw Jethro's gaze getting darker. He hesitated slightly before he carried on, "General Quintana, our liaison mentioned that they have specifically requested to speak with you, and no one else."

Jethro scoffed, "Tell those bastards that I'm unavailable. Have our negotiators relay that this is an order from me. If they persist in seizing our ships unreasonably, they'll face the consequences! Our goodwill should not be equated to a reluctance to employ drastic action."

With that, Jethro dialed the secretary's number. "Prepare the car. I am meeting Lord Southmere."

Ten minutes later, Jethro's car had arrived at the command center of the National Security Bureau.

In the National Security Conference Hall, Rhett, the Lord Southmere, was seated in the center.

Also present in the meeting hall were the newly promoted General Wright, General Lynch, General Grayson, General Baxter, Lieutenant General Wilson, and other high-ranking officers.

Jethro greeted them politely before he announced, "Lord Southmere and fellow generals, I have urgent matters to discuss."

"Jethro, you came just in time," Lord Southmere nodded. "I have some news for you. I'm sure you will be delighted upon knowing this."

Jethro frowned slightly. "Lord Southmeere, what good news are you bringing during difficult times like this?"

It was truly a helpless situation. This was an inexpressible indignation.

Lord Southmere let out a long sigh. "Jethro, let's put this aside for now. I have good news for you. Master Ramsey has emerged from Snow Valley alive."

Jethro was stunned. "Lord Southmere ... is what you say true?"

Rhett pushed a confidential report toward Jethro.

"This is our Master Ramsey," Jethro's hands trembled with excitement. "He crippled the northwest defense base of Tanqueria. This is the kind of spirit we lack!"

Jack looked at Jethro, who was agitated, and said, "After ending the life of Yakonov, the Chief of Defense of the Northwest, Master Ramsey headed towards Draconia. However, Valdemar from Tanqueria's National Security Bureau has insisted on issuing orders to continue the pursuit and elimination of Master Ramsey. Your arrival is timely as we are actively pursuing this matter. In this case, we must adopt a strong stance to support Master Ramsey. We must show the world that Draconia, with us standing guard, is not to be trifled with," said Jack.

"Lord Southmere, we should have taken a firm stance long ago," said Hunter sternly, "The best way to establish our authority is to take down a target. For example, we should target Demberoa, who has been particularly vocal lately. Give them a thorough lashing and see if they dare to be insolent again."

Lord Southmere nodded in agreement. "We shall draw up a winter exercise plan. We will conduct live-fire drills in the areas bordering Tanqueria. This includes the eastern and southern regions of the waters. We will warn all sects, organizations, and armed forces operating in these areas to clear the area immediately. Otherwise, we will not be responsible for any accidental injuries caused by our live-fire exercises. The participating units shall all be our elite forces!"

Wilson echoed, "Excellent. We shall welcome Master Ramsey's return in this manner. We will show those organizations and groups that want to kill Master Ramsey that they will regret it!"
