The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1298

Watertown's Temporary Highest Command Center.

Thirty top executives from Autreynia stood in stunned silence, their eyes wide in disbelief at the unimaginable scene before them.

That wasn't just a regular war. It was the end of Autreynia!

Autreynia's top defense experts had seen similar scenes of devastation before, but only in simulations within the strategic planetary laboratory.

Those had been mere illusions—alien attacks on Earth imagined by Autreynian minds. But now, it was all too real.

After the destruction of the nuclear weapons test site at Autreynia's National Energy Base in Nevareon, the high-ranking officials at Watertown's Temporary High Command Center finally realized the situation they were facing.

Stiles shouted, "Three nuclear bombs couldn't even stop Divine Drakebane, and we've been hit harder than ever!

"Listen up! If we don't face the truth, if we continue to act like world leaders, Divine Drakebane will wipe Autreynia out completely!"

Lucentia sat frozen, struggling to accept the reality unfolding before him.

The military experts and global strategists exchanged glances. They all knew that unless Autreynia's top officials immediately showed humility and surrendered to Divine Drakebane, Stiles' warnings would become their grim future.

Rexha, the Minister of Defense and Foreign Affairs, stood up. "Mr. Lucentia, Mr. President, military experts," he began, "Autreynia's military bases around the world are being expelled by other nations. They're demanding that we pull out our forces.

"The reason is simple—if we don't, their countries are at risk of Divine Drakebane's wrath."

The room fell silent.

If such words had been spoken at any other time, high-ranking officials in Autreynia would have acted immediately to punish the rebels, make them pay, and change the current leadership. However, the military leaders and politicians stayed silent.

It was clear to everyone that Autreynia was on the verge of collapse. With most of its military bases destroyed, what right did Autreynia have to command others? If they couldn't even defend themselves, how could they control anyone else?

"Mr. Lucentia, urgent intelligence from the Secret Intelligence Division!" the command center secretary broke the silence.

"It's from Tanqueria. Three minutes ago, their Black Ocean and Panacea fleets were resupplying. They've received orders to head into Panacea and Yaspian Oceans for spring training with live ammunition."

Lucentia and the Alliance Council Speaker abruptly stood up. Everyone knew what that military action from Tanqueria meant.

It was a dangerous sign. If Tanqueria's fleets took advantage of the situation, Autreynia would lose any chance of recovery.

Divine Drakebane wanted Autreynia's submission, but Tanqueria sought its destruction.

"Mr. Lucentia, four Draconian fleets are heading toward Harmont Islands."

"Mr. Lucentia, Cigarria is also making moves."

"Criele's aircraft carrier group has left Yaspian Ocean and entered Panacea!"

"Report—Calistara demands full autonomy! Alabryn wants high autonomy! Alo is seeking independence from Autreynia! Azrien ... "

A series of reports from the Secret Intelligence and Foreign Affairs Division shocked everyone present.

...

As Autreynia suffered a brutal attack from Divine Drakebane, the entire world seemed to lose its mind.

Regions that once feared Autreynia now unleashed their anger against it. People who had long been oppressed by Autreynia demanded reparations for their losses.

Armed guards inside Watertown House aimed their weapons at a light-speed warship hovering outside the window.

The advanced audio system of the light-speed warship immediately blared a warning, "Drop your weapons, or I'll send you straight to hell!"

But the senior officials at Watertown House, confused and stunned, didn't dare to respond.

Suddenly, a burst of energy surged from the warship. Thirty armed guards were struck in the forehead, collapsing instantly, lifeless.

The warship's hatch opened, and a rainbow-colored beam extended like a ladder.

Robin stepped out first, with Joanna and Eira right behind him. He walked confidently to the temporary command center's conference table in Autreynia.

"Execute the leaders of the 20 top families in front of the world. Confiscate their assets, turn them into cash, and transfer it to my leopard-print access card!"

Robin then turned slowly to face Lucentia. "As for you, you must die."

"You ... How dare you!" Lucentia yelled, furious. "You're a monster, a criminal!"

Robin smirked. "You got that right!"

With a sharp slap, he sent Lucentia crashing against the wall, killing him instantly.

Robin casually pulled out a wet wipe to clean his hand, then pointed at the man sitting across the room. "Mr. President, stand up and apologize to me in front of the world!

"And execute the leaders of the 20 top families right now!"
