Celine suddenly laughed. As she laughed, her eyes reddened in an instant. Then, she began to cry.
"Celine, why are you crying? You're pregnant now, and crying isn't good for you," Mary said, quickly pulling out a tissue to wipe her tears.
Celine found it ridiculous. She finally learned the truth today, and everything made sense.
Carly had been impersonating her all along!
All this time, Carly had stolen her identity, pretending to be the one who saved Adam's life. And Adam had always believed that the person who rescued him was Carly.
Celine reached up and touched her neck but realized the emerald necklace was gone. That necklace was the one Adam had given her all those years ago in the cave. She hadn't been wearing it, and she remembered leaving it in her apartment.
"Celine, what's wrong? You're scaring me."
The shock was overwhelming, but Celine quickly pulled herself together. "Grandma, Hailey, I'm fine. Carly is a liar!"
Hailey looked at her and asked, "Celine, what do you mean?"
Celine said, "The person who saved Mr. Alvarez in the forest wasn't Carly. It was me!"
Hailey jumped up in outrage. "Celine, are you saying Carly stole your identity? Oh my god, she's so shameless!"
Mary slapped her thigh in frustration as she remarked, "I knew it! There's no way Carly would've saved Adam. Someone as selfish as her would've been the first to run if things got dangerous! Adam has been so blind. He has spent all these years believing the wrong person!"
Hailey said, "Celine, let's go expose that fraud right now!"
Celine nodded. "I have an emerald necklace. Mr. Alvarez gave it to me back then after what happened. It'll prove who I really am. I left it in my apartment. Once he sees it, he'll understand everything."
Hailey replied, "Celine, you should get some rest first. Once you're feeling better, we'll go get it."
Mary's expression darkened with suspicion. "Celine, could someone have taken it?"
Celine froze. She suddenly remembered that Carly had broken into her apartment just a few days ago. At the time, Carly had been standing right there, just steps away from where the necklace had been.
Since Carly had been impersonating her, she must have known about the necklace. Could it be Carly who had taken her necklace?
Celine was furious. Not only had Carly stolen her identity, but she had also stolen the necklace.
Her audacity was unbelievable. She was so shameless that nothing could stop her.
Hailey asked, "Do you remember where it is, Celine?"
Celine stood up, letting out a cold laugh. "We don't have to find it anymore. Carly already took it."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam)
How can this be,Carly always gets away with everything and Celine intelligence is not working her at all....
Just as I thought. This could go on a few more chapters. But the bond between Fiona amd Celine is undeniable. Even without knowing that they are mother and daughter. Though I'm totally confused. Isn't there any resemblance between Celine and her parents? How couldn't they tell that she was their daughter?...
As expected of the dna results in favor of the wicked carly again.. so frustrating...
I hope the writer of this story will not prolong this…..what happened to the DNA…...
Can you upload more chapters per day, each chapter is very short you always keep us hanging...
Can’t wait for when Nigel will discover Celine is his child...
I was enjoying Celine being a formidable woman until the author put her abuser back in her way to make it seem she is weak willed with no physical control. This saddens me....
Regardless of how "sorry" the abusive man is. His regret is his own burden to carry....
When a woman divorces a man because he ill treated her, authors of these books, should stop making a women look desperate to go back with the abusive man. The real world is not like that. Many many women value themselves too much to return to their abusers....
Please this story is going round in circles……this writer🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️...
