Adam's voice was hoarse, and it took him a moment to steady himself.
He stared at Celine, his eyes searching hers as he asked, "Celine, was it you? Has the emerald necklace always been with you? Were you the one who saved me all those years ago?"
Alfred's voice cut through the silence. "That's right! The girl who saved you back then was Celine!"
Hailey sneered, "Mr. Alvarez, you've been terribly mistaken all this time. It was Celine who saved you. How could you confuse Carly with her?"
Robin chimed in, "Mr. Alvarez, you and Celine lost so many years. And worse, you've caused her so much pain because of Carly—and you never even noticed."
The girl from that night was never Carly.
It was Celine.
Adam's fingers tightened into a fist as the truth hit him like a cold, unforgiving wave. The girl who saved him all those years ago was Celine. He had spent all this time searching for the wrong person. All these years, he had been chasing the wrong memory.
Celine met his gaze, her voice steady and unwavering. "Yes, Adam, it was me."
Adam's tall frame stiffened.
Her eyes turned red as she pressed on, "I was the girl who saved you. Adam, where did you go after that? Do you have any idea how long I waited for you? You promised you'd take me with you. You swore you'd give me a home. You told me you'd never leave me behind. I held onto those words my whole life."
In that instant, Adam was flooded with a thousand unspoken emotions. Before him, Celine's face slowly merged with the image of the girl from the cave. Every promise he had made to her resurfaced with painful clarity.
Celine's eyes glistened with unshed tears. "I waited for you for so long, but you never came back. So, I went after you.
"I followed your path through countless cities, chasing every trace of you. I saw your photo in a display case at Haffard University, and that was when I first discovered your name—Adam Alvarez. From that moment, I couldn't stop learning everything about you.
"Later, I heard you had fallen into a coma. The Tates asked me to marry you in someone else's place, so I did it. Adam, I faced endless hardships—all just to be by your side."
The one thing she had feared the most had finally happened.
What now?
What was she supposed to do now?
Sonia, Lucy, Hayden, and Tracy stood in stunned silence, their faces drained of all color. They had come here believing Carly's heart surgery would be the beginning of a new chapter. But now, it was clear—this surgery wasn't the start of something new.
It was the beginning of their downfall.
Adam and Celine had found their way back to each other. No matter what they had done to stop it, fate had already made its choice.
Adam and Celine were always meant to be.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam)
How can this be,Carly always gets away with everything and Celine intelligence is not working her at all....
Just as I thought. This could go on a few more chapters. But the bond between Fiona amd Celine is undeniable. Even without knowing that they are mother and daughter. Though I'm totally confused. Isn't there any resemblance between Celine and her parents? How couldn't they tell that she was their daughter?...
As expected of the dna results in favor of the wicked carly again.. so frustrating...
I hope the writer of this story will not prolong this…..what happened to the DNA…...
Can you upload more chapters per day, each chapter is very short you always keep us hanging...
Can’t wait for when Nigel will discover Celine is his child...
I was enjoying Celine being a formidable woman until the author put her abuser back in her way to make it seem she is weak willed with no physical control. This saddens me....
Regardless of how "sorry" the abusive man is. His regret is his own burden to carry....
When a woman divorces a man because he ill treated her, authors of these books, should stop making a women look desperate to go back with the abusive man. The real world is not like that. Many many women value themselves too much to return to their abusers....
Please this story is going round in circles……this writer🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️...
