On the way back to Skyline Estates, Jennifer was scrolling through her phone.

Saw Richard’s message on the trending topic.

Just after Richard bought the trending topic to insult her, public opinion online suddenly flipped, with all platforms exposing Richard for embezzling public funds, owing gambling debts, and even borrowing from loan sharks.

Overnight, Richard’s credit collapsed, his company went bankrupt, and all his properties and vehicles were mortgaged by the bank. He also faced detention.

Jennifer couldn’t help but feel nostalgic about Richard’s rollercoaster- like life.

Now, Brayan has finished talking about what she wanted to talk about, she wants to leave.

“Where are you going so late? Just stay here tonight!”

After Brayan finished speaking, he went to the closet to change into his pajamas, and then handed a brand new set of pajamas to Jennifer.

Jennifer noticed that this new pajama set wasn’t pink, but black.

After taking a shower and changing into new pajamas, Jennifer lay down on the bed.

This bed seemed big enough when we bought it for our wedding, but it’s not so spacious with two people in it. Brayan’s body heat feels like it’s roasting my back.

Jennifer slept surprisingly soundly last night.

When I woke up, Brayan wasn’t by the bed.

There were faint noises in the bathroom, Jennifer thought Brayan must be getting ready in there.

She first checked the time on her phone, and then a news alert popped up automatically.
