As soon as she heard that, Catalina’s face changed, but with so many people around, she couldn’t show it even if she felt guilty.

“All the supplements from Nourish Haven were created by me, they’re not something just anyone sells. In the past month, I only sold them to Jennifer.”

When Jennifer’s name came up, Donna was the most surprised one.

Brayan’s face, with its sharp angles, didn’t show much emotion.

“Jennifer said her friend’s mother was scared and hospitalized, needing some supplements for calming and strengthening the body, and it turned out to be Mrs. Donna LeBlanc.”

In Ms. Hopper’s words, “a friend” stirred up a storm in Brayan’s deep

eyes.

He gripped the tall glass tighter and tighter.

Donna smiled and said. “Those health supplements really work, they deserve to be a world–renowned big brand.”

At that moment, Davon walked over and proudly said, “Boss Fang, Jennifer is the daughter–in–law of our LeBlanc family, so filial.”

Brayan’s high school friends didn’t realize he was married until they heard Davon say it.

“Huh?” Ms. Hopper raised an eyebrow. “So, is this Ms. Colbert the mistress and lover that Mr. LeBlanc found outside?”

Chapter 52

As soon as those words came out, everyone’s look at Catalina immediately turned weird.

Catalina tried to keep calm, her palms hurting from being pinched by her nails.

“Boss Fang’s words were a bit harsh,” Brayan explained with a cold face, “Catalina was my high school classmate.”

Seeing Brayan speak up for himself, Catalina’s smile regained some confidence.

“Sorry, that was my misunderstanding.” Ms. Hopper apologized, but there was no hint of apology on her face; “In my understanding, married men shouldn’t be too intimate with other women, so it’s not my fault to misunderstand.”

Brayan opened his mouth, but before he could speak, Davon jumped in and said, “Mr. Fang is right. It’s all Brayan’s fault for being so clueless. I didn’t teach him well.”

Ms. Hopper may just be a nutritionist, but her family background is not simple. She has a wide network in the business circle. Davon is lucky to have Ms. Hopper here today/

Ms. Hopper didn’t want to come originally.

But she knew Jennifer was the LeBlanc family’s daughter–in–law, thinking maybe she could see Jennifer here.

Jennifer was surprised to see Ms. Hopper at the LeBlanc’s manor.

She was about to leave, but then she saw Ms. Hopper stayed for a while.

Ms. Hopper finished talking to Davon and then went straight to find Jennifer.

Two people walked to a place away from the party to chat alone. From an outsider’s perspective, the two of them seemed very familiar.

“Are you really not planning to go back and visit your parents? They said they really miss you,” Ms. Hopper urged earnestly, completely different from how she was just now when she was arguing with Brayan.

Jennifer’s face was colder than ever before.

She remained silent for a while, then chuckled sarcastically.

“I only have one mom, she’s in a nursing home now, I often go visit her.”

Ms. Hopper hesitated, then changed the subject.

“That Brayan…”

“I was going through a divorce with him.”

Ms. Hopper patted Jennifer’s shoulder like a kind elder when she saw that Jennifer didn’t want to talk much about Brayan.

Ever since Catalina found out that Ms. Hopper met Jennifer, she noticed that Brayan’s gaze on Jennifer has increased in both frequency and duration.
