"What do you mean?" Foreman asked.

Joshua looked at Foreman with a half-smile. "What I'm saying is, these guys might not actually be from the Gibson family. They could be faking it, trying to play us against the real Gibsons. Or maybe they're just creating a smokescreen to throw us off track."

A chill ran down Foreman's spine.

Joshua's deductions were frighteningly accurate. He had to get rid of this man, or he would be a constant threat.

Foreman quickly composed himself. "That's just your speculation," he sneered. "The most important thing right now is to rescue Keen. And here you are, wasting time with wild theories. Your motives are crystal clear."

"Mr. O'Brien has already sent his people after them, hasn't he?" Joshua replied, unfazed. "Knowing his thoroughness, I'm sure he has a plan. All we can do now is wait for Keen's safe return."

He then glanced at Foreman's injuries. "Mr. Richards, you're seriously hurt. You should go to the hospital. Star and Mr. O'Brien can handle things here. You don't need to waste your time waiting around."

Stella turned to look at Foreman. Though her face was pale, she was remarkably calm. She had been so focused on Keen that she hadn't noticed the extent of Foreman's injuries.

"Foreman, go get treated," she said. "We'll take it from here."

As soon as he got in his car, before he could make the call, his phone rang. It was his assistant. A sense of dread washed over him. Had Haynes already rescued Keen?

"Mr. Richards, it's terrible!" his assistant's panicked voice came through the phone as soon as he answered. "Master Keen… he's been taken!"

Foreman's grip on the phone tightened. "I know," he said calmly.
