Joshua Gardner stood by the window, observing Leonard and the butler as they strolled leisurely through the Williams family's garden, occasionally taking out a phone to snap pictures.

"He's just being dramatic!"

Joshua glanced at Israel. "Or, is it possible that Leonard knows you, the Williams family, won't let him go easily without getting something out of it?

"So he's decided to cut his losses and make a clean break?"

Stella's thoughts stirred at his words.

Like the rest of the Williams family, she had been convinced that Leonard had an ulterior motive.

But Joshua's words gave her pause.

Could it be that Leonard truly wanted to give up on Aurora?

"Doesn't that explanation make everything suddenly clear?"

Joshua's words were brutally frank, and Israel erupted in fury.

He shot to his feet, pointing at Joshua. "What do you take the Williams family for? A bunch of petty opportunists?"

Joshua raised an eyebrow with a smile. "If you don't see yourselves that way, then how about this? If Leonard truly wants to cut ties with the Williams family, you refuse to accept a single cent of his compensation. What do you say?"

Israel was speechless.

Joshua turned his gaze to Aurora. "Of course, this is all just my speculation. Whether Leonard is playing hard to get or genuinely wants nothing more to do with Ms. Williams, as the person involved, she should know best.

"Instead of all this guessing, why not ask Ms. Williams herself what she thinks?"
