Joshua's voice was cold. "Violet Yancey, don't you think Israel has had too much free time lately?"
Violet was silent for a few seconds. "I'm sorry. There have been some issues at home recently, and I've been spread too thin."
Joshua said flatly, "That's Israel's doing. He's creating problems for you so you can't focus your energy on him.
"Violet, if you can't effectively keep Israel occupied, you're not irreplaceable for this partnership."
Violet was startled.
She quickly replied, "I understand. I'll find a way to deal with Israel immediately. As for my family's situation… I'll have to trouble you with that."
Joshua hung up the phone a few seconds later.
Staring at the disconnected call, Violet let out a sigh of relief.
Joshua was just a bodyguard, but for some reason, she felt more pressure dealing with him than she did with Stella.
After hanging up, Joshua called Harold.
"Accelerate the plan for Sellers Burton immediately."
Harold was surprised. "Mr. Gardner, is it urgent?"
After all, Sellers was the head of the Burton family; he wasn't an easy man to outmaneuver.
Their original plan against Leonard had taken a long time to develop.
They had started working on it right after Stella's hand was injured.
Their initial plan for Sellers had been temporarily altered by Joshua.
However, things had not gone as they expected.
Aurora's reputation was in shambles, yet Leonard was unwilling to marry her. He had even offered three percent of his company to cut ties with the Williams family.
Their plan to bind Leonard and Aurora together could be considered a failure.
This was the first real setback they had experienced in a long time.
It wasn't that Joshua had never failed; he had certainly miscalculated before.
He handled his own work from his office or at the Williams estate.
The Gardner Group was now stable after Joshua had returned to quell the internal conflicts. His top executives and core team were not only capable but also loyal.
Joshua only needed to handle major decisions or problems they couldn't solve.
There was no need to be so hasty.
But Joshua's voice was low. "Besides Star, many people now know about Rachel.
"I'm running out of time."
Harold was stunned. So it was about Rachel.
Most of the time, Harold could accurately grasp Joshua's intentions.
But there were still times when he couldn't fathom Joshua's thoughts at all.
Harold said, "Mr. Gardner, Ms. Cameron trusts you so much right now. Even if she finds out about Rachel, she'll probably forgive you."
