"Stella?" McCoy frowned. "The same Stella who attended the Chapman family banquet? Lauretta and Stella are good friends. Could there be a misunderstanding?"
"What misunderstanding could there be?" Queenie retorted. "Stella has always disliked Aurora. She's been targeting her ever since they were at the Williams family home."
"That's just speculation," McCoy said. "Do you have any proof?"
"I was out shopping with Aurora at the time," Queenie explained. "The attackers were clearly prepared. They separated me from her and then started beating her. They warned her to stay away from Joshua and never to let them see her trying to seduce him again. Joshua is Stella's bodyguard, and their relationship is ambiguous. If it wasn't her, who else could it be?"
