The Heiress’s Second Chance at Vengeance
Chapter 95 The Deserted Host
“Yeah… I mean, come on–how could Eliza do that? No matter what, Naomi is still her sister, and she just
blocks her like that?”
“Well, if my sister stole my fiancé, I’d block her too.”
Someone nearby nudged the girl who said that, signaling her to shut up.
After all, they were all under Naomi’s roof right now–no one was about to talk trash about her to her face.
Sure enough, Naomi’s face turned even darker when she heard that. “Zayden and I truly love each other. Zayden never liked Eliza to begin with. She was the one who should’ve stepped aside!”
No one dared say a word after hearing Naomi say that.
The mask dropped.
Scowling, Naomi snapped, “I’ve been paying for all of you for a whole month! I spent so much money, and you’re still sitting here pointing fingers. If you’re so capable, then why don’t you try leaving?! Sneak out and see what happens!”
It was winter, and the New Year was only days away.
Of course everyone was anxious to get home.
But if they couldn’t leave, they’d be stuck out in the suburbs. They could freeze to death before anyone found them.
Once Naomi had left the room, one of the classmates who couldn’t stand her scoffed, “Fine by me. Let’s go. Who’s scared? You think we actually want to stay here?”
“But… how do we even leave?” someone whispered. “If we get caught, won’t they send us to the police?”
“What’s there to be scared of? It’s not like we’re infected. We just sneak back. No big deal. This place is so remote, they barely check anything.”
“I’ve got an idea. I’ll rent a coach bus. We’ll take off early in the morning before anyone notices.”
“We’re just gonna leave Naomi here alone? Isn’t that kinda harsh?”
“What’s so harsh about it? She doesn’t want to keep feeding us. This whole trip was her idea. Nobody begged her.”
“Exactly. I didn’t even want to come. She dragged me here–and now she’s acting like we’re mooching off her. Let her enjoy this fancy villa all by herself.”
The rest quickly chimed in in agreement.
Naomi had no idea what they were planning.

The next morning, when she woke up-
She noticed all the other girls in the room were gone.
“What the hell?” Naomi frowned.
She got up and went downstairs.
The living room was a mess–trash everywhere–but not a single soul in sight.
She ran to the other bedrooms. Empty.
No way… did they leave?
Panicked, Naomi bolted out to the courtyard.
No one there either. But the front gate wasn’t locked. From the looks of it, they’d snuck out early in the morning.
She immediately grabbed her phone and started calling her classmates–but no one picked up.
“How could you all do this to me?!”
Naomi screamed, hurling her phone to the ground.
But then it hit her–if they could leave, maybe she could too.
Meanwhile…
Zayden was still at the Holt family estate.
Because of the flu, the Holt Group had been shut down for a month.
Grace was running herself ragged trying to deal with company affairs.
Especially with the New Year approaching.
If there was still no turnaround after the holidays, the Holt family would be in serious trouble.
“Mom… Naomi just called me.”
“Naomi called? Why are you just standing there then? Answer it!”
Grace was desperate.
She didn’t care much for Naomi personally, but for the Holt family’s future, she had to maintain good relations with the Rivers family.
Zayden answered Naomi’s call.
On the other end, Naomi was crying. “Zayden, I’ve been stuck out in the suburbs for a month. Can you drive out here and pick me up?”
