Brave, the most reliable and respected figure under The Kraken's leadership, was a strong and successful man. He had never failed to carry out a task given to him, thus earning a perfect score.
"Hey you," Brave called out to one of his men, "bring me a chair."
The man complied, and soon a chair was in front of Brave. He then sat directly in front of the large apartment building and lit a cigarette from his pocket.
"I guess work is easy like this," he said in a proud tone, "I don't need to meddle too much."
"You guys go in immediately and capture that young girl," Brave ordered his men. Soon, some of them entered the apartment building one by one.
"Sir!" One of Brave's men called out, hurrying towards him.
"What?" Brave responded in a gruff tone.
"Someone reported that there is a man suspected to be Mr. Glitzy with Alicia in her room," the man continued.
Brave's face lit up with a pleased expression, and he laughed.
"This is going to be an even easier job than we thought. Get the girl and Glitzy out, and I'll take care of them myself. I'll show him that he should have stayed away from The Kraken and her army by beating him up."
Dozens of courageous men stormed the building, golf clubs in hand, ready to take out their two targets for the day.
Brave felt his cell phone ring, and with a proud smile, he knew it was The Kraken calling. He answered, determined to make his boss proud of his work.
"Brave, what took you so long to complete this task?" Estella Strong, also known as The Kraken in the underworld, asked in a gentle yet firm tone. Her voice was melodious, but her meaning was clear. "I'm too bored. Is capturing a weak girl this difficult for you?"
"Boss, don't worry," he said reassuringly. "Give me a few more minutes, and I will finish this task. And one more thing that will definitely put a smile on your face."
"What is it?" she asked inquisitively.
"I believe Mr. Glitzy is also here with the girl, and I'll apprehend them for you," he explained.
"Really? Are you sure that man is in here as well?"
Estella fell silent for a moment upon hearing that fact. She was intrigued by Mr. Glitzy and had the intention to meet him in person. She wanted to know what kind of man had made Aston The Goblin so angry and overwhelmed.
"Okay," Estella said with a smile on her face, "I will get out of the car and go to your place. I want to see what Mr. Glitzy looks like, and maybe I will reveal his identity myself. I will show him how beautiful I am and I will bring him to his knees in front of me."
"Okay, boss," Brave answered proudly.
Brave put his phone back in his pocket and took a long drag on his cigarette, savoring the smoke as it filled his lungs. He blew it out with satisfaction before waiting for the result of his men's efforts to be revealed.
Brave's men looked terrified when they approached the apartment building door, and Brave was infuriated. "If any of you are scared, I'll beat them up. Just go inside and grab that idiot. Are you scared to just confront a man?"
He clenched his fists and forcefully dragged his men to the apartment building door, then grabbed the others and kicked them.
“Hurry up and get that man!” he demanded.
After waiting for several minutes, Brave was exasperated to see the same scene unfold again; several people were ejected from the apartment building and lay limp in front of him.
Taking up a golf club, he glared towards the building, and at that moment, a man wearing a bear head mask emerged from the entrance, accompanied by a girl with black hair - Alicia, the target of their mission that day.
Brave angrily brandished his golf club at Arthur and sneered, "So, you finally dared to show your face?" He then added, "Are you Mr. Glitzy? You look so weak, I'll teach you an important lesson today that you will never forget. Prepare to accept my wrath!"
Arthur slowly walked up to Brave, the golf club resting on his shoulder. He said, "Did you guys have to bring that many people to face me? I'm flattered by this kind of service. I'm sure you really understand how powerful and dangerous I am, right?"
Red-faced, Brave exclaimed, "God damn it! I'll finish you right now!"
[Host, I hope you're not too overconfident facing the seventy or so people in front of you by yourself]
"Hush now, system," Arthur said, attempting to maintain a sense of confidence despite the large crowd before them. "Are you trying to motivate me or frighten me?"
