The Leaders of the Underworld finally convened after receiving news of Estella The Kraken's failure to win Alicia and the humiliation they endured from Mr. Glitzy, despite Estella bringing an army of one hundred people to carry out the mission.
"We have been disgraced!" The King exclaimed.
The atmosphere in the private room was thick with tension as the five occupants silently stared at one another.
Johan, The King, who was the highest-ranking leader of the group, puffed on his cigar while deep in thought. After a few moments of silence, he finally spoke up, "So, The Kraken, do you have anything to say?"
In this opportunity, Aston The Goblin, who had been eagerly waiting for his chance to talk, finally had it, and he smiled faintly, feeling elated by Estella The Kraken's misfortune. This meant that her current fourth-place ranking was under threat, which in turn provided an opportunity for Aston The Goblin to take her place.
"I'm not sure she wants to say anything after being so shamefully defeated by Mr. Glitzy," the goblin said teasingly.
Having heard Aston's words, Estella quickly shot him a piercing look. She was well aware that he would take advantage of this opportunity to try and make himself look better. Still, Estella could not be easily fooled, especially by Aston, who had already tasted a greater humiliation than her own.
"I think it's time to teach you a lesson, Aston!" she declared, jumping to her feet and swiftly throwing a kick at him. The speed of the attack was so great that Aston couldn't even follow it with his eyes. "You will pay for what you said!"
However, before the kick could reach Aston's face, The King swiftly extended his arm and, with his long limbs, expertly blocked Estella's leg kick with a single finger.
"Ch!" Estella exclaimed as she quickly retracted her legs and crossed her arms.
"We have only two options left for Mr. Glitzy," she stated.
Estella remembered vividly how formidable Mr. Glitzy was; he was an exceptional fighter whose movements were so swift that even Estella was unable to best him. What's more, the man didn't show a single ounce of fear even when Estella brought a hundred men to surround him.
"Mr. Glitzy is not someone we should take lightly," Estella said. "If we keep attacking and fail to defeat him swiftly, it is as if we are teaching him how to fight instead. And if we continue to corner him like this, I'm afraid he'll grow even stronger and pose a threat to The Underworld."
The King looked at Estella, intrigued by her admiration of Mr. Glitzy. "Why do you say that, Estella? How hard can it be to beat someone like him?"
Estella felt a wave of disgust wash over her as Eliza The Witch spoke as if she was attempting to belittle her. In a fit of indignation, Estella exclaimed, "What do you think you can do to him? Fuck him? To think that you would be so lustful for this kind of man!"
Before Estella could even finish her statement, Eliza had already risen from her chair and clasped her right hand around Estella's face, effectively silencing her and rendering her immobile. In a low yet firm voice, Eliza warned her, "I warn you again, watch your mouth in front of me. I could easily destroy you and all that you own. So, I suggest you be mindful of your words when I am present."
Eliza released her grip on Estella, standing up and turning to face the King. "What is your decision?" she asked.
The King then put down his cigar and glanced at Eliza the Witch and Aston the Goblin. "You two," he said. "Do your duties: destroy Mr. Glitzy or bring him to join us. The one who can do it fastest will be the winner."
The King then stood up and crossed his arms, eyeing the room carefully. "I know someone like Mr. Glitzy does have the potential to grow," he declared. "That's why I want to know how you handle this man. Don't let what has become our power in this city be disrupted because we failed to destroy the superior seeds that will become new strengths in the future. And if destroying him isn't the right way, then make him part of us."
With that, the meeting of The Underworld Leaders that night ended.
