"Look at mine!" Harrison snapped, flashing his phone screen like it was some sacred relic. His voice was smug, his posture cocky. “I know Mr. Cooper personally. I’m calling him right now!”

He grinned, waiting for the gasps, the awe. But none came.

Instead, Drax cracked his knuckles, stepping forward with the calm menace of a predator. “You bastard,” he growled. “How dare you insult my boss in my presence? Are you tired of living?”

His eyes were burning. One more word from Harrison, and the man would be eating pavement.

But before Drax could throw a punch, a hand gripped his arm.

“Don’t waste your strength,” Jaden said coolly, eyes steady and cold. “You don’t wrestle in the mud with pigs. You’ll just get dirty—and the pig enjoys it.”

He turned toward the exit, his voice calm but commanding. “Let’s go.”

Harrison wasn’t finished. Not yet. He hit the dial button. “You’ll all eat your words,” he hissed. “Hello? Mr. Cooper? This is Harrison—”

The man’s voice on the other end cut like a blade.

“You worthless insect! If you ever call me again, I swear I’ll send someone to put you in the ground. You hear me? Get lost!”

Then silence.

Dead, soul-crushing silence.

Harrison froze. He stared at his screen. Call ended.

“What the hell…?” he muttered, dumbfounded. “Why's he so pissed? Did someone mess with him? What just happened?”

He had no clue that at that very moment, Cooper stood inside Williams Gravesend’s shattered office, staring at the wreckage Jaden had left behind. Blood still stained the corner of the carpet. The glass door lay in fragments.

Cooper’s hands trembled slightly as he lit a cigarette. “Damn… What kind of monster did we provoke?” he whispered. “Who the hell is this guy?”

Back at the tower entrance, Harrison was still processing his humiliation.

“Pfft,” Hannah scoffed, arms crossed, eyebrow arched. “You sure know important people, huh? Guess you forgot to tell Mr. Cooper that you’re the king of clowns.”

Her words sliced through the silence. Passersby smirked. Clara covered her mouth to hide a laugh.

Red-faced and seething, Harrison tried to retort, but Hannah had already turned away.

She took the card Jaden had given her and pressed it into Clara’s palm. “Here. You go in. Enjoy the inside of your precious tower.”
