The Mafia Princess Return (Talia) novel Chapter 250

**TITLE: The Man Who Built an Empire from Power—and Tried to Rebuild Me from Ruins by Caden Blake**
**Chapter 250. The Mafia Princess Returns**

**Kayden’s POV**

Witnessing my baby girl take to the skies alone was nothing short of breathtaking. I felt a swell of pride that surged through me, knowing that even after this recording, she would only continue to improve, soaring higher with each flight.

But then she mentioned the possibility of losing air pressure, and I couldn’t help but stare at her, my eyes wide with concern. The thought sent a shiver down my spine; it was genuinely terrifying. Yet, she handled it all with such grace and confidence, making the daunting seem effortless.

As the conversation shifted to another tiger, I felt a knot tighten in my stomach. Talia had initially planned to sit this one out, to avoid the chaos, but now she felt compelled to join the fray because of this new threat. I wished she would reconsider, that she would choose safety over danger. The last thing I wanted was for her to be anywhere near that monster. But I also recognized her fierce spirit; she had a heart so big that no one could trifle with her tigers without facing her wrath.

“Sweetheart, are you sure this is wise? Maybe you should sit this one out,” Uncle Caleb interjected, his brow furrowed with worry.

Talia met his gaze with a look that was both affectionate and resolute, a smile breaking across her face. “I’ll be fine, Uncle. I promise to stay out of sight until we can confront Poseidon, and I need to try to bring him to our side. Plus, I believe Zeus and Hades should join us on this mission.” Her eyes flitted from Uncle Caleb to Leon and Dominic, seeking their support.

Leon nodded, his expression softening. “That sounds like a solid plan. We have two days to prepare ourselves, and by the third day, we’ll be ready to move as soon as Cillian makes his move.”

Nico chimed in, his voice laced with determination, “So this means we’re finally going after Cillian for good?” The weight of that question hung in the air, and we all leaned in, our collective focus sharpening. Getting rid of that bastard was a priority for all of us.

“Yes, we are,” Victor affirmed, his tone serious as he surveyed each of us. The four Dons then unfolded the strategy they had devised in collaboration with Talia, Tommy, Vargues, and Gabriel.

I noticed the subtle exchanges between Uncle Caleb and Talia, a silent conversation passing between them. My other friends caught on too, their expressions mirroring my curiosity. There had to be a reason Uncle Caleb had spoken with her privately the other day.

Yet, Talia had assured us that everything was fine, that she would confide in us if anything troubled her. She had looked us in the eye, and I believed her. But doubt gnawed at me—what could they possibly be hiding? All I wanted was for my girl to be safe. If something was weighing on her, she needed to share it.

“Tomorrow, after breakfast, we’ll need to brush up on our combat and weapon skills. Dina and Talia, would you two take charge? You’re the best we’ve got,” Leon instructed, and they both nodded in agreement.

“Let’s all get some rest tonight. We have long days ahead of us,” Uncle Arthur said, and we all nodded in unison, the gravity of our task settling over us like a heavy cloak.

We rose from our seats, the seven of us making our way to our shared bedroom, preparing for the night ahead.
