Chapter 4
The administrative director immediately chimed in. “Hey, why would Ms. Carter need to wear clothes when going out? That’s too formal! It’s not like we haven’t seen everything!”
Laughter erupted around us.
Suddenly, a shrill female voice rang out. “That’s her! That’s the shameless woman who seduced my son!”
As soon as she finished speaking, the woman slapped a diary page across my face: [The teacher let me touch her during tutoring at home… I can’t sleep at night]
Jessica covered her mouth in shock. “Oh my God! Isn’t this Tommy’s handwriting? He’s Ms. Carter’s student!”
The woman grabbed my hair and shook me violently. “My son is only 16! Are you that desperate?”
I stared at Ryan, trembling with rage. “It wasn’t me!”
He knew I never did private tutoring at students’ homes. If only he would say one word…
But he looked away, showing no intention of defending me.
My heart gradually died in silence.
Jessica glanced at Steve, who nodded slightly.
Suddenly, sticky moaning sounds exploded through the banquet hall!
My voice had been AI-processed to sound wanton and chaotic, mixed with Ryan’s friends’ whistling.
I desperately lunged for the speakers, and only then did Ryan stand up and walk toward me. “I don’t believe Ms. Carter
would do such disgusting things!”
Right after Jessica shouted this, she convulsed as if shocked and fell backward. “Ah! Ms. Carter, why did you push me!”
Ryan didn’t hesitate-he turned to catch Jessica.
When he looked at me again, the guilt in his eyes had vanished. “You ruined Jessica’s award ceremony with your
perverted behavior! Don’t you know Jessica has a heart condition! When she wakes up, you’d better apologize
immediately!”
Ryan carried Jessica away, pausing to say through gritted teeth to Steve. “Handle this.”
Steve grinned and blocked my path, gesturing to the female parent.
My hair was yanked painfully as tears streamed uncontrollably down my face.
As they dragged me, my buttons scattered across the floor.
“Principal Mitchell said to leave Ms. Carter some dignity.” Steve played with his lighter, the flame licking at my hem. “The dignity of… a public parade. I heard she even ordered couple’s toys delivered to school-she’s completely unfit to be a

teacher!”
Ryan’s friend fanned the flames. “Strip her and see! After playing so many times, why act innocent!”
I was painfully held down and torn at by seven or eight pairs of hands, sharp nails digging into my flesh.
As I struggled with all my strength, someone shoved me hard from behind.
My abdomen slammed into the iron flower stand, instantly sending excruciating pain through my body while warm
liquid flowed down my thighs.
“Ryan Mitchell!” I instinctively called his name, only to realize in despair that he had already left.
“She’s bleeding!”
Amid the screaming, my consciousness gradually faded.
When I woke up, the nurse told me the baby was gone.
My nose stung with tears.
Actually, I had scheduled the abortion for today anyway.
It seemed even the baby didn’t want to be born into an unhappy family.
My phone buzzed incessantly. Ryan had sent over a dozen messages: [Emily, where are you? I heard you had a tantrum
and broke a cup. You’re pregnant-don’t you know to control your emotions? Jessica isn’t feeling well, I need to take care
of her. The wedding will proceed as planned tomorrow, just come to the venue yourself]
The last message was from half an hour ago: [How dare you not answer my calls? Know your place. I’m willing to give
you a wedding-don’t be difficult!]
I deleted all the messages and called my senior. “David, tomorrow’s flight-I’ll be there on time.”
