The Night Wolf novel Chapter 46

Willow smiled as she accepted his help to stand up. "I'm good."

"I'm sorry about that." Said Jamie-Ray, making Willow wonder how in the world did he end up being friends with Hunter.

"It's fine. I have to go. Thank you though."

Willow stopped short when she took a few steps. "Thank you, for the other day." Melody had informed her that it was JR, who had found her in the library. She owed it to him, or else she would have had been left there, as a corpse probably.

"No worries, it was my job."

Willow knew that were it not for Melody, she would have had developed a crush on JR. She was sure that Melody had a crush on JR, though she denies it, but Willow had often seen Melody steal glances at JR.

Willow didn't want anything to come in between their friendship.

Willow continued to walk to her first class which was Biology, brushing away what had happened just minutes ago with Hunter.

But little did she know that Hunter had just inaugurated the opening ceremony of her stay in Hell.

That night, as she was about to go to sleep, she felt a light pain in her lower abdomen, making her wonder if something was wrong with her cycle. But it grew, at a very fast pace, till she was left a screaming mess.

Willow felt like someone was repeatedly stabbing her. It wasn't like period cramps, it was ten times worse. She doubted she could live through the night. She felt like she was dying, no, she felt that it was better to die than to feel what she was feeling. Death felt like an escape from the horrible feeling in her lower abdomen.

Venice, her mother had rushed to her room at her scream, to find her curled up on her bed with her arms locked up under her knees, tears streamed down her face fasted than the water falling down the Niagara falls.

She was taken to the hospital the very night, only to find nothing wrong with her. Though the doctor informed her that she might have appendicitis or an ovarian cyst, the ultrasound scans proved otherwise.

Willow skipped school the following day, but she felt the same cramps that night.

It all started with her being shoved about, and her being tripped by their foot. It got to the point that she bested side stepping and jumping over feet. They all grew bored and it had come to a stop slowly.

Then came Triple Jordan, the most beautiful girl in the school, she was perfect in every aspect and she was also Hunter's girlfriend. With hair which looked sun blessed, eyes as blue as the sky and her body which every person wishes to have either for themselves or to themselves. As far as Willow could remember, Triple had always been a nice person. But she didn't know what happened for Triple to hate her. Willow didn't talk about Triple behind her back, nor did she vandalize anything that belonged to triple, she didn't even try to enact her crush on Hunter or try to seduce him. She knew many girls did that.

Willow wondered what in the world she did to catch both of their attention, that too in the worse way possible.

Willow was able to grab a peaceful night's sleep, she didn't know why but the cramps didn't stay for long, it was there for a minute and gone the next, but that day Triple came out of no where and dumped one full bottle of strawberry juice on her. "Whore!"

"What the-"

"You better stay away from him." Triple shoved her, making Willow hit the lockers hard.

The very day, as she was waiting for Melody to get her a change of clothes in the ladies locker room, in one of the bathing cubicle, she heard her name being said. It wasn't new to her. She had become very popular in her school, that one can't go without talking about her. This one time she had heard someone tell her friend about how she heard a from her other friend who heard from her cousin who heard from her mate's sister about how the Alpha rejected Willow.
