Rowan grabbed her hand, lacing their fingers before helping her down the giant car.
Willow was so happy by the time she was out of the car that she doubted anything could ruin her day. She had finally kissed Rowan and there were no obstacles either.
Rowan locked the doors before pulling her along with him, Felix was trailing behind them grumbling something about how clingy mates can be.
Willow could hear whispers going around the parking lot. They didn't get many new students if at all. Especially someone as handsome as Rowan, and let's not forget Felix.
Willow kept her eyes on their linked hands, but her ears could listen to all the people who were talking about how hot the new boys are and that the girl with them must be their sister. Willow almost glared at that girl.
Willow wondered if she should ask Rowan to go bald and grow a long beard. She was sure that will stop the girls from wanting him. Or maybe even that won't stop the girls. Rowan was just so gorgeous.
Rowan froze beside her, and stared at her with shocked eyes. "You wouldn't!"
"You can read minds?" Willow's eyes widened.
"Only if you want to say something to me. It's called a mind link."
Willow stared at Rowan. Mic testing one two three. Rowan can you hear me?
Rowan chuckled. Yes, I can her you. Willow almost swore. She was sure that Rowan didn't move his mouth, yet she had hears him and she was sure it wasn't just her mind playing tricks on her.
"Goddess is that Willow?" Gasps filled the air the moment the guy said this. Willow couldn't even talk telepathically with Rowan as panic settled in her. She was worried that they'll try to take Rowan away from her, highschool does that to you.
Willow didn't know she was clutching tightly on to Rowan's hand till he squeezed it back, as if assuring her that he'll never leave her. Willow felt herself relax as she got in the building before she once again felt panic settle in her when she noticed that majority of the students in hallway were staring at her, as if they had heard what happened outside.
More gasps filled the air when they saw her. She heard the words 'freak' 'ugly' and the one that was mostly used 'reject' passing around.
The last time she had been in the school, she was mostly treated like she didn't exist. But why were they suddenly looking at her like that. But what shocked her was the pity in their gaze. Why pity, Willow wondered.
Willow acted like she didn't notice anyone around her, though she was a huge pool of anxiety inside, and turned to Rowan.
"I'll take you to the office." Willow said softly, she just hoped that Rowan wasn't affected by all those stares.
Willow rolled her eyes but she couldn't help but grin.
The electric current decreased, as the short circuit seems to be fixed. Melody finally opened her mouth. "We need to talk."
"But I have to help them with their schedules."
Melody turned to JR. "Can you show them to the office babe?"
JR normally wouldn't normally decline helping others, but when Melody asked him to do something, no matter how bizarre the request is, he'll do it without any second spared. "Of course."
JR pecked Melody on the lips before leaving with Rowan and Felix. Melody, not wasting another second pulled Willow along with her and headed towards the restroom.
The moment the door closed behind them, Melody was on her like a koala and pulled at the neckline of the sweater Willow was wearing.
"Hey hey hey!" Willow pulled back swatting Melody's hands. "I know you love me but this isn't right. You have JR and I have-"
