The Night Wolf novel Chapter 61

Willow couldn't help but chuckle at the pun though her heart was continuing the pirouettes. Rowan cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears away with his thumb. But Willow pulled back when she felt her bangs move. To avoid making him take notice of her action, she smiled widely at him.

Willow sniffed. "Why are you in my class? Not that I'm complaining. But shouldn't you be in the grade above?"

"I was homeschooled, I've actually completed the highschool syllabus when I was twelve." Who was it that was saying that nobody's perfect? "But I wanted to spend more time with you, even if it's in school."

Willow was flushing now, but thankfully-not really-her face was already red from crying, so Rowan provably wouldn't notice her face going redder. "When did you start watching Hannah Montana?"

Rowan looked taken aback. "How did you know? I only watched Hannah Montana to learn from her, on how to hide your other identity."

Willow rolled her eyes. She stared at Rowan's brows which seemed to have furrowed. Willow touched his brows and massaged them. "You'll get wrinkles."

Rowan caught her hand in his and placed a kiss on her palm. "Really?" His eyes never leaving hers.

Willow felt her breath hitch. "Yeah." Willow breathed out as Rowan moved forward and took her lips in his.

Rowan's lips moved softly against hers as his arm held her close to him. He leaned back against the desk pulling her along with him. Willow pulled back to breath in and felt Rowan lick her lips, which made her gasp then Rowan kissed her again, his tongue inserted in her mouth and brushed by her tongue.

Rowan pulled back and left a peck on her lips before he finally stopped. Willow was left a breathless mess, but Rowan didn't really look fazed.

"So wifey huh?" Willow asked once she had sufficient amount of oxygen.

Rowan grinned. "It's something I found online."

Willow couldn't help but smile as well. She felt that she was worried for nothing.

Though they had missed the second period, Willow found out that she had Rowan in her third class and the fourth though they didn't share the fifth but for the sixth and seventh, they did have them together.

Willow felt that something was fishy. Even she and Melody didn't share this many classes in the three years of highschool combined.

"Wow, looks like we really are soulmates." Said Willow.

"We are. Why though?"

"We have six out of the seven classes together!" Willow looked up at Rowan who remained silent beside her for long. "Did you do something?"

It took a moment for everyone in the hallway to take in what was happening and soon it erupted in multiple screams. Feminine mostly but Rowan was sure that he even heard few boys shrieking.

Rowan pulled Willow to his chest as he walked further down the hallway through the throng of screaming students.

After he had safely pulled Willow in the World History class, he let her go. The classroom was empty, Rowan had seen even the teacher rushing out of the classroom, rushing towards the place where the drama was being unfolded.

Willow had her eyes wide open. "What was that?"

"I have no idea." Rowan shrugged innocently, though his eyes couldn't conceal his achievement.

Willow stated laughing as if reminiscing the moment, she narrowed her eyes at him. "Are you sure?"

"Well, now that you've mentioned," said Rowan. "I might have had done something."

It was true, he was indeed the conspirator. Rowan had asked Felix to get the work done, Felix had agreed, though begrudgingly since he didn't want to wake up earlier than usual. Rowan felt that it was a pity he had only asked for a hundred cockroaches instead of a thousand and he should have also had added a couple rats. But then again, the rats would have eaten the cockroaches.

When Rowan first found out that Willow was bullied, he had wanted to kill, kill everyone of them and suck them all dry. But he knew that he shouldn't do that, he did after all live in a civilized society, he couldn't just go around killing people, even though he was a prince-especially since he was the crown Prince. It wasn't really a good example.
