"What happened?" Willow asked.
The nurse shrugged. "Since she said that your fine, I'll also be leaving." She smiled before walking after the Witch.
Melody sat on the bed Willow was lying on and JR took the chair beside her bed.
"Good to see that you're awake." Said JR.
"Good to see you too." Willow grinned, even though she felt like she saw them at school, two days ago. Willow looked at both of them and pursed her lips. "But you have to tell me, where's mom and Rowan? Where am I?"
"Your mom, we didn't tell her about you."
"But haven't I been here for a month?"
Melody nodded. "Rowan glamoured her into thinking that you were living with a distant, non existent aunt."
Willow frowned. "But that's my mother, you can't use glamour on her."
"Well, we didn't really have any other option, you could have had turned into a Vampire any moment, she wouldn't have been able to handle it."
Willow sighed, she still felt disappointed, even though she knew it wasn't their fault.
Melody was silent for a long time. "We are currently at the pack hospital, since this is the safest one in this town. Rowan had the Royal Witch come here to heal you, even though the odds were against us, you would have turned into a Vampire, but it seems like the Witch saved you just in time." Melody smiled.
"Where's Rowan?"
"Rowan?" Melody stuttered. "He's busy, you know he just turned eighteen, since he's the Crown Prince, it must be quite hectic for him."
Willow frowned feeling uneasy, she felt like something was wrong. "Mel-"
The door opened once again, the Witch walked back in. "I found it!"
Melody exhaled, as if she was holding her breath for a long time. It didn't go unnoticed by Willow, but she didn't probe further.
"What did you find?" Asked JR, turning around in his seat.
"The mark."
Melody and JR furrowed their eyebrows, their action in sync. They simultaneously turned to Willow, as if to ask her about it, when they noticed the Mark on Willow's neck.
"What's that?" Melody leaned in. "When did you get a tattoo?"
"That's not a tattoo." Said the Witch as she smoothed her hair back into her bun, which had probably disheveled because she ran back and forth, though she didn't look like she was out of breath. "It's the mark of the moon."
Willow frowned. "What are you doing here?"
"This is my territory."
Willow recalled Melody telling her that her condition was so bad that she couldn't be moved elsewhere, hence she had to stay in the werewolves pack hospital, which was the safest for her, had she turned into a Vampire.
"But this is my room, for now, so you should leave." Willow glared at Hunter, recalling everything she had previously seen.
"I'll break it off with Triple. I'll do it, so that we can be together, I'm willing to give you a chance."
"You're unbelievable."
"I'm unbelievable?" Hunter frowned. "At least you should be thankful that I'm doing this for you."
"Thankful?" Willow spat the word. "Thank for what exactly? Thankful that you broke off our mate bond because of your pride, regardless of weather I live or die? Thankful that you couldn't keep your thing to yourself, almost killing me in the process? Or should I be thankful because you made all your friends bully me? Why should I be thankful to you? Tell me."
"You knew?" Hunter stepped back, shocked.
Willow continued glaring at him. She didn't know when, but now that she looked at Hunter, she didn't hate him, she felt nothing as she continued staring at Hunter, as if he didn't matter to her, at all. She understood why she felt this way. It must be because her feelings for him were never genuine, it had just been the bond and whatever that was left of it after Hunter and Triple had made the witch, Danny, break the bond.
