The Only One Series novel Chapter 14

Gunner's club is preparing to attend the club campground this weekend. Usually, everyone gets excited around this time. However, this year Gunner just wants it to be over with. All he thinks about is Lana and why they can't find her. He and his VP are standing outside looking over the RV's when they see an arrow slam into the wall three feet from them.

They look around but can't see anyone. As his VP walks over he sees a piece of paper wrapped around the arrow. He takes it off after pulling the arrow out of the wall. He reads the paper looking at Gunner his face going white. Gunner, yes I ask? You are not going to like this. Give it to me I said. When I read the paper and then saw the picture of Lana sitting under a tree staring I was angry. She lost even more weight and she had not sparkle in her eyes.

Wait, did I read this right. I looked at my VP and said. I'm might be a father? My woman might be carrying my baby? I growled so loud members ran out the door with guns in their hands. I screamed find my woman. I want no excuses. Word got around the club fast that my woman might be pregnant with my baby. Now they not only have my woman but my child.

I stormed into the clubhouse where my mother and sister met me. Is it true that you received a picture of Lana and note? A note that said she might be pregnant with your baby? Yes, it's true and before you ask, yes I made love to her before she was taken. My mom smiled and said. I might be a grandmother. Then she jumped up and down clapping her hands.

I looked at my mom and said. I will find her and bring her home before she gives birth to my child. I promise this to you mom. You will be at the birth of my child. I then walked to my office and slammed my door. I will find you and bring you home to me Lana. Please do not give up hope I said to myself.

I then called Hawk and Falcon and told them the news. Congratulations Gunner they said. Now let's get back to work and find Lana and bring them both home. I hung up the phone and decided to find out the names of every MC in the United States and send prospects and club members to the towns to see if they can find Lana or get information about her.

Lana Five Months Pregnant

The VP asked how Lana was feeling. I would feel better if my brothers would let me leave and go home to Gunner. Then he said. Lana do not do what I think you are going to do. Mayhem saw her look up at the VP with anger. Then he heard. Or what, If I try and run away again you will lock me in my room this time and have a prospect sit inside my room and outside. Then he heard the VP say. And one outside your bedroom window.

Lana then said. Do I fucking look like I can fit through that window? Then she turned and looked at the president and said. Please, just let me call Gunner and tell him I am safe. I can't do that Lana, you know that. I would if I could you know that too. Laura saw a tear run down Lana's face. You don't understand. I need and want Gunner. I need him. As they finished eating they noticed that Lana barely ate her food. They watched as the VP helped Lana up out of her chair being gentle with her.

They walked the women out and helped them in the car before getting on their bikes and following them down the road. The Viking MC that is who she is with. What are they to her Mayhem wondered. And what do her brothers have to do with her being with them?
