Lana said that's fine. The man gently picked Lana up and carried her down the stairs and lay her on the couch. He put a pillow under her leg and her arm then he sat in a chair across from the couch and Laura took the other chair. Who are you I asked. He sighed and said. You don't know me Lana but I know you. Let me tell you a story. I was in the army. I had two buddies. One buddie had this beautiful woman who he was going to marry after he got out of the services. I became buddies with him and another man. Two of us did not have any family.

You used to write Gunner and send care packages everyother week. When you found out we did not have family you started sending us care packages with little notes of encouragment in them. Hawk and I were jeoulous of Gunner. He was lucky to have a woman like you. Hawk and I started to think of you as a sister. Then Gunner did something I hated him for. He did not return home to you.

I know that you would not care what he looked like you loved him so much. I would watch after you when I got out. I never saw Gunner come for you. I started to see you losing weight, not sleeping, and working too much to keep yourself busy. That made me angry. By the way, I am Felcon.

Falcon then turned and carried me back to the room and put me on the couch. Falcon I asked. Yes? Why did you take me from Hawk's compound? He is your buddy as well. And he was taking care of me.
