Ashley's Pov

At those words I saw his eyes widened as if he's never been spoken to like that before but I didn't really care like it's my first day and it's not like I've signed the contract yet so he cannot fire me.

I heard his chair against the tiles before I felt his presence nearing me.

"Let us go then Ms Becker we have things to do" spoke My Boss darkly But at this point I could careless honestly am tired (Cue eye roll).

You know boss man I can show myself out?

Just go am right behind you I spoke sassily before closing my eyes for a spit second.

The elevator ride was very awkward as Mr Allieson seem to be socially awkward or he's just extra conservative around me. As the elevator stopped I was the first one out there I really couldn't take it in there much longer. As I walked my feet began to hurt like a bitch, but I was too proud to show it so I walked like there was no tomorrow before I was suddenly lift off the ground bridal style, In my moment of shock I harshly grabbed on to the person's head to smack before I realized he was my boss.

"All you had to do was ask you know am not that much of an asshole"

he spoke in sincerity but I already knew that from the first time I saw him when I walked into the meeting room I could tell but that doesn't mean I should put my pride on the line especially to my boss no less so I just enjoyed the lift.
