The Primordial Record novel Chapter 1705

Chapter 1705: Time To Kill

Rowan did not care if his statements were false; simply stating them prompted his Destiny to respond, and the corruption that filled his consciousness was washed away.

"So, this is the weight of this power... interesting."

When Rowan’s power was placed into perspective, he was a relatively humble individual; still, it did not mean his ego was not bigger than a galaxy. To control the sort of power he had, you need confidence that could crush diamonds.

Every time he used his powers, his willpower would have to equate to a mortal jumping into an active volcano, while believing with no doubt that they would survive.

To have a mind like that either required madness or an unshakable confidence in their abilities, and this confidence was further solidified by the acquisition of Intent and then Will. This was all without adding the boost from bloodlines and other skills acquired along the way from the endless trials he had undergone that boosted his mind to ridiculous levels.

All of this meant that Rowan’s mind was unshakable, but that seemed to mean little to the power he had gained. The endless wave of self-doubt that had plunged him into the midst of depression was dangerous, and if this had happened in the center of battle, Rowan would find himself presenting his neck to his enemies and beg them to relieve him from the burden of living.

What was important to note was that Rowan had not activated the Enochian Cradle, and its debilitating effect was already this strong. There was still more of this ability that was yet to be seen, but for the first time ever, Rowan stopped himself from viewing the powers on the page, at least not yet.

First, he needed to refamiliarize himself with the changes made to his body, and he needed to especially address his elevation to the eighth-dimensional level.

With everything that had happened, this space was on the verge of destruction, and he had little time before it all went crashing down around him. Placing the black book gently to the side, Rowan closed his eyes and looked at his heart, and saw his Destiny.

Rowan had killed enough Old Ones by this time to know how their eighth-dimensional powers were exemplified. The realm of Destiny was ephemeral, and for many Old Ones, their understanding of it was paused at its beginning; they could not explore this realm further without countless years of effort, and most of the time, the gains that were made were minimal.

However, Rowan was sure that no Old One in existence could be able to see their Destiny with the bare eye like he could.

Surrounding his heart was what resembled, from a distance, a dense fiber bundle that glowed with an enchanting light. It was as if a universe had been spun into threads and then weaved together for this bundle to be created.

Rowan’s ’heart’, on the other hand, did not resemble any anatomical structure known to most immortals; instead, it took the shape of a colorless sphere that would have been invisible if not for the light of Destiny that surrounded it.

His senses neared Destiny, and he was shaken because he understood that for any dimension to take a physical shape, it meant it had touched the realm of Origin!
