The Primordial Record novel Chapter 1847

Chapter 1847: Final Form (1)

Rowan was not surprised by Telmus’s appearance; he had detected him the moment he left his Origin Land, but Telmus’s quick ascension to his first layer of Origin in such a short period of time was surprising.

Even placed inside a time-dilated environment, Rowan expected Telmus to take many billions of years before he began to explore his unique layers of Origin.

Truly, the fear of death was the greatest motivator for growth, and it seemed this was also the case even for Primordials.

Rowan’s nature as a Reality meant the layer of Origin was no mystery to him, and most of the Origin Sources he controlled were all claimed by him via conquest and not from normal cultivation.

However, the Ascension of Telmus did not just benefit this new Primordial, but Rowan as well, and a distant spark lit up in Rowan’s consciousness as a surge of inspiration flowed through him, but he could not focus on this aspect at the moment.

Pushing Telmus to the rank of Primordials had borne fruit, but Rowan had to be alive to enjoy the proceeds of that fruit.

At this time, Rowan was just glad that even at the end of all things, there was someone who was able to still strive past the limit imposed by existence.

So, if Telmus was able to break past his limits, how could he, who claimed to be limitless, be continuously held back by an artificial limit imposed by a dead tyrant!

From the moment he activated his Final Form, Rowan understood the power behind this move, and he knew that this was the power that existed beyond Origin.

From the moment he acquired the Primordial Record, it had always shown him glimpses of the power that existed beyond his present level.

As a mortal, he was shown the power of gods, as a god, he was shown the power of Empyreans, as an Empyrean he was showed the power of higher dimensional immortals, as a higher dimensional immortal, he was shown the power of Primordials, and now as a Nascent Primordial Entity, he had been shown the power that existed beyond Origin. Today it was the first time that Rowan chose to step through this door.

Eosah had asked him why he was not curious about what lay beyond the fourth level of Origin, and the most straightforward answer he could have given her was that he also had a door inside the depths of his being, his Final Form.

Rowan had always been wary of unleashing this power, and it was for good reason; the consequences might be unimaginable and also unrecoverable.

Still, Rowan was stuck in a bottleneck. He needed to ascend, but his path forward was poisoned. He had no time to slowly explore forward because the weight of seven hungry Primordials was hanging over his head.

So, Rowan decided to take a gamble, with all of Reality and his life as stake. He came to Eosah, who stood beside one of the doors that led to the layer beyond Origin, and he asked her questions that should not be asked.

Rowan had told himself to expect anything and everything to happen. Whatever he thought might go wrong would surely go wrong... and he was not wrong.

When the black arm from the Incarnation of Enoch tore through Eosah’s body and came for him, it also shattered her Singularity that kept the Primordials who were outside of Reality from seeing the state of those within.
